"The cocktails were carefully constructed by a gifted bartender. The house salad for 2 large with a tasty dressing. My son's BLT sandwich innovative and large but I can not see how they can say it is served with french fries as they were really glorified potato chips. The tortellini mac and cheese with lobster was very satisfying and we appreciated the 4 nice pieces of lobster meat. On the negative side, I thought the Delmonico was not worth the $39 price tag. The server warned me that it was fatty but the less fatty sections were not as tender as they should have been. I really needed the sharp knife that was provided. I have eaten this cut of meat many times in the past and this was not worth the calories I consumed. It was done perfectly."

"We had a fabulous Filet Mignon dinner at Theos. My leftover steak, when sauteed, was just as tender as when I had it in the restaurant. A la carte prices are in line with other steakhouses."

"To begin...it was wine festival weekend. We were aware the restaurant would be busy but they did not manage the situation very well. We arrived 15 min early for our dinner at 9 and were immediatly told they were behind. The right thing to do would have been to offer us a drink and attempt to make the change a positive one. I had 6 people with me and was embarrassed when they offered nothing and when I asked about it the hostess said she was broke and couldnt afford to buy us a drink (?). The host also said only Brian the mgr could comp our drink. We had one anyway and later it was comped. 40 min later we were seated. Audrey was efficient but it was very apparent that the staff was "well done" with the evening. Food was marginal. Wont return"

"This is a small intimate restaurant with great steaks cooked to perfection. A very good wine list and full bar which has unique cocktails. The wedge salad is perfection with cold crisp lettuce and warm bacon bits in a creamy dressing. Sides are all ala carte and somewhat expensive ($7.00 for a loaded baked potato), but overall the kitchen is first rate. With appetizer, drinks and dinner you are looking at about $50 per person, not including tip. Parking is very limited in the rear of the restaurant, but there is also some on street parking in the surrounding residential neighborhood. Nice for date night or a special occasion, but definitely not a place for kids. Overall a four out of five stars."

"The food and wine were very good. But,we had to wait a long time for the main course to be served; secondly, restaurant management should do something to dampen down the noise factor in the dining rooms -it makes quiet conversation difficult. Installing carpets and wall hangings would help."

"We decided to go on a weekend getaway to St. Michaels. As this was last minute, we opted for an early reservation at Theo's, and we have to say, it was the best dinner we have had in along time. We go out to many different restaurants - quite often. Our server, Curtis took very good care of us. The food was indescribable!!! I was so sorry to be finished eating, because I did not want the dinner to end. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the sides (for two) were amazing The delicious dessert (chocolate mousse) was made in house, and was really wonderful. I would come back any chance I get juts to go to Theo's!!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Yum!!!"

"The food, atmosphere and service was excellent in the dining area. Perfect for a romantic dinner. The bar side was very nice and energetic. Our dinning table was nearest the door to the bar, so the noise did travel through. However, this did not not diminish our experience. The steaks were cooked perfect. We would definately go back again and recommend it to family and friends."

"We have been here a copule of times now with our 16yo son...he absolutely loves filet so begs to go everytime we are in town....i had the Theos salad and the sauteed flounder with grits and asparugus in a brown butter sauce.....superb! the fish was light and flacky and the grits were absoulutely delicious....as always the salad was tasty and super fresh with just the right amout of dressing...My son started with the tortellini mac n cheese....these are a sin in a bowl...so good! my husband had the oysters Theo and he loved them...both my son and husband ordered the filet with fries and asparagus! the filets were to die for cooked to perfection, thick and juicy!!! an excellent meal all around and we will def be back soon! Theos is a must !"

"We always enjoy dining at Theo's. It's a great place on the Main Street in St. Michaels. During this visit I had the Oysters Theodore as an appetizer. These are always great so I had a double order. After the appetizer I had a delicious perfectly cooked Delmonico Steak. My wife had the Wedge Salad and then the Whole Lobster for her entrée. The lobster was about 2.5 pounds and was delicious. We shared our entrees, so we kind of had surf &turf. We also shared two side, the Brussels Sprouts and the Grits. Both were very good. We usually like to sit at the bar first for cocktails, but this evening, even at the early time of 6pm the bar was lively and full. We highly recommend Theo's and its one of our regular places. ."
