"We went to Eleven Plates for Mother's Day brunch for the second year. It did not disappoint and was even better than last year. There was a nice variety of selections and very reasonably priced compared to the country club brunch. We will be back again next year."

"Been there several times, all good, some great, but this time most everything went bad. We will most probably give it another chance in a while, expecting it to come back."

"We went to eleven plates after purchasing the tasting menu for 4 people. All food was good, cooked well, and served within a good timeframe. None of us were wowed or amazed by any food, but we all enjoyed what we got. The brussel sprouts in lemon aioli were awesome and creme brûlée was solid.
We would recommend eleven plates and would come back and try things on the real menu which sounded good."

"Best brussel sprouts ever! Nice surprise to find such good food in this unassuming location. Wait staff was attentive and helpful (we ordered a wine not on the wine list per waiter's recommendation and liked it very much). Chocolate peanutbutter dessert was to die for (another recommendation from the waiter). We will definitely be back. Worth the drive. I'm craving those brussel sprouts with lemon aioli."

"Food was great but pretty salty. We had to ask for some bread to ease our taste bud. But other than that, it is a comfortable and great dining place."

"Had the restaurant week menu, which had a great selection! The food was very good, although at times frustratingly lacking in seasoning. The service was decent. All in all, I'd recommend eleven plates & wine but warn that the experience may be disappointing for the price."

"The pairing of prosciutto, pear & goat cheese on flatbread was a flavorful appetizer to start an evening of wonderful dinner dishes! We visited during restaurant week, and the chef did a marvelous job on the menu selections. Our group loved the pork chops, the tiger shrimp, the lamb chops---heck, what's not to like?! :) Energetic vibe but the tables are equipped to absorb some of the sound so you can have table conversations. Will definitely return and will recommend it to friends."

"WE went to eleven plates & wine for brunch during restaurant week. The brunch was wonderful and the ambiance and outdoor space is peaceful. The salmon appetizer with egg, olives on flatbread hit the spot. The ham and egg sandwich had a wonderful flavor and was even good the next day. I would recommend this place. Give it a try!"

"I love this place for dinner so i thought it would be good to try their brunch. The service was awful. I asked for the eggs benedict with some substitutes as i am a veggie, for example spinach/mushrooms or wheat bread and they said they did not have any of those things in house. I ordered poached eggs and a side of potatoes and veggies, ( ones they had in) When the food came out the eggs where stone cold and not cooked well at all. I was with friends so i didnt complain. The waitress did take our drinks of the check as she knew that we had bad service, which was nice of her but i will not be returning for brunch. Such a shame as the dinner is great here."

"I opted to try this restaurant with some co-workers as part of spring 2013 Austin Restaurant Week, and was very happily impressed. After being seated, I was a bit suspect because our waitress kept answering our questions on dishes with 'it's really good' or 'that's one of my favorites.' She wasn't wrong; it was really good and I could see it becoming one of my favorites. The plates were nice to look at and wonderful to eat, and our waitress was cheerful and attentive. I will absolutely return."

"Food is "modern" without being weird, but the kitchen is bit slow. Service, while usually pleasant, is unskilled. We wanted a leisurely meal, as we were entertaining a group of friends, but 30 minutes in between the first course and entrees was too much."

"Our food was good, but the service was a bit off. Everything took a bit longer than usual, & this was relatively early on a Friday night & the restaurant wasn't very crowded at all. The waitress gave us some kind of happy hour coupon in compensation for the long wait, but it was so teeny, we left it there. I really want this place to succeed, it's sorely needed in Westlake, but this is not the first time the service at 11 Plates has been off. Don't know if it's the kitchen or what, but they need to figure it out."

"We had a table of 8 with varying ages. The food was delicious - something for everyone. The atmosphere allowed us to visit and enjoy our time together on Easter. The service was outstanding! Our server was attentive but in the background always making sure we were taken care of. It was our first time to eleven plates and wine. We will recommend them and plan to return."

"We were at Eleven Plates for Easter Brunch. Wide selection and variety of foods to choose from. Server was exceptional, plesant, and just the right amount of checking in with us. The room is very noisey and when full very difficult to speak to each other. Otherwise, a good expereince."

"Shared a delicious lunch with a friend, three starters: fried Brussels sprouts, pear and prosciutto flatbread, and mussels. Plenty of food for two, and each dish a star we'd order again. Brussels sprouts are particularly unusual and plentiful."

"The food was terrific. I had the redfish. It was seasoned and paired with great sides artichoke hearts. Other foods sampled was the pork tenderloin and Mac & cheese. Pork was a little dry and very salty. Served with mash potatoes asperagus. Fingerling potatoes would've been better. They have very nice decor and was terrific for a date night. It was relatively affordable overall. Cheers"

"We really enjoyed our evening out at 11 Plates. Although it definitely has a "grown up" vibe and would be a good choice for a romantic date night, they accommodated our kids. We had a corner table in the wine room and the mac and cheese was perfect for our littlest one. The server was attentive, the food was excellent and we hope to go back soon (probably without kids)."

"I was there on Saturday with two friends and a baby. It was early evening, so we were literally the only people in the restaurant for a while. They were very accommodating with our little one (bringing over a high chair, giving us bread soon after we sat down so she'd have something to nibble on.) The waiter was very nice and really helpful, but the food was just so-so. The starter cheese plate was small for the price. The broth in the mussels wasn't flavored well and the mussels were really small. The brussel sprouts were good at first but then a bit too tangy after a few bites. The corn side was probably the best thing that we had. I might try again later to see if a more fun atmosphere helps."

"I read some reviews on Yelp! that said there was new management and service had degraded. Still, I gave this place a try and I'm glad we did. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere had a good feel about it. Don't miss the fried brussel sprout appetizer (sounds weird, tastes great!)! My wife thought the lamb was exceptional. We plan to return on a warmer evening when we can sit outside and watch the sunset from the balcony."

"Delicious meal ! They were very accommodating since we had made an error on the date of our Open Table reservation - but they still found us a good table. The food was wonderful and the wines even better. The waitress even brought some samples of the "by the glass" selections for us to try before deciding. Wonderful evening for all."

"I used a Living Social coupon, which limited us to pastries, along with one of four brunch choices. The pastries were airy, and each of our entrees was flavorful and creative. We had the Tiger Shrimp scramble, and the bruschetta. The potatoes that came with the bruschetta were so deliciously seasoned with rosemary.
We were seated in a tucked-away corner in the wine room, which was nice, but I'm sure we would have loved the view even more, by the window, overlooking the hills around Austin."

"Eleven Plates and Wine is a gem of a neighborhood restaurant in northwest Austin. The decor is highlighted with walls of wine racks. The fried Brussels Sprouts is a house specialty for an appetizer.. There is something for everyone on the menu. Two of us had the salmon and I had steak frites. . A word of caution: All portions including the appetizers and salads are huge. Order accordingly. If you want a quiet table, the back room is preferred. Otherwise, the main room near the bar is fun and energetic. If you are a wine lover, this is your restaurant."

"This was our first trip to Eleven Plates and we really enjoyed it. We eat early (6PM), so there was no crowd until we were leaving. The food was great. We both had fish dishes that were very moist while still being as "done" as we like them. Excellent salad as a starter. Service was attentive while not being "fussy." Our one issue was with the desserts, which while good, were not "knock-outs." We will be back and recommending to our friends."

"We had an unbelievable meal at Eleven, as always. If you have not had the Brussel Sprouts yet they are a must have. You will never think about Brussel Sprouts in the same light again. I had the lamb this time and it was amazing. The service was fantastic. This restaurant is one of the true gems in Austin in terms of dining."

"We've been Eleven Plates a number of times, but are not regulars and had not been there in about six months due to traveling. Lindsey, our server, not only recognized us but remembered the exact bottle of wine we ordered the last time. The restaurant no longer carried that wine and she made a very good substitute recommendation. Definitely try the truffle fries, our dinners were good. The interior dining can get loud."

"This is the third time for dinner at Eleven Plates and I'm happy to report I loved it just as much as the first two times. We argued over whether the scallops or spare ribs were better; we cleaned both plates. And the bibb lettuce salad was exeptional. I will be back!"
