"Never disappointed by the food at LL. The service, however, needs improvement. Why? Asked for two more drinks before appetizers and got them during dinner. Asked for another loaf of bread--never got it. Asked for more tartar sauce, got lemon instead. Again, asked for tartar sauce, never got it. While we didn't feel rushed, neither did the waitress as she stood there talking to another waitress rather than getting us what we asked for. Needless to say, I will venture back because of the food, but I will not have that waitress again--if she's still there."

"Great restaurant in Queens, a classier type of place with no competitors in the area. Have been coming to restaurant for several years, quality has remained the same. Very good food but the food quality doesn't match the high prices - should be running 20% lower than they are."

"We took my Mother to dinner so we were 5 we were seated in a booth near the bar it was roomy and comfortable. Our server was proficient and accomodating. The meal was excellent the tuna was cooked perfectly, the fried fish platter was crisp and fresh. We always enjoy a meal here and look forward to going back."

"The food at London Lennie's is always good and much of the time it's great. Oysters are fresh and well prepared. My wife and I will frequently take our out-of-town visitors there because we can count on its quality and preparation. Their cole slaw is the best. This last visit my sister and her husband loved the food. If you go there and think the food is bad it is likely because you're in a bad mood. The wine list is good but not outstanding."

"Our experience with London Lennies has always been a good one. The food is fresh, the service is responsive and the restaurant is always energetic. While we were having dinner, the room next to ours was celebrating a birthday. It was nice to see them having a good time and enjoying each other's company. We are never rushed and I have been going to London Lennie's for more than 40 years. As a matter of fact, I am just about ready to make another reservation - we love seafood and they have the best!"

"My mother and I went to London Lennie's for the first time on Mother's Day 2013 and it turned out to be an outstanding choice. From extremely fresh and flavorful baked clams to broiled and fried sea scallops, superb Moscato D'Asti wine to an exemplary dessert list, just every single thing hit the mark on this place. Excellent service, including easy valet parking service, made this outer borough choice fit for foodies who just love their seafood. Also, has good choices on the kid's menu plus excellent land lubber meats at reasonable prices for the quality. I recommended this place to just everyone I know! We'll definitely be back."

"Even though it was the busiest day of the year, the service and the quality of the food was excellent. We had a three thirty reservation, and even though the place was packed they sat us right on time. The food was expertly prepared, the service was great, and everything from appetizers to dessert was served at an excellent pace. The waiter mentioned that they were scheduled to serve over 1000 dinners for the day."

"This was not the first time we visit London Lennies in Queens, I love their Seafood, we both are Seafood lover, on Mother's Day yesterday, My husband took me and His mother to celebrate in this restaurant, unfortunately The Waitress who served Us, really rude and not Friendly, Very disappointed!!! "I have never had a bad meal here. Everything is wonderful all the time. Whether you are very hungry and looking for a hearty meal, or something lighter, you will not be disappointed. My only concern is that, I believe they may have altered the steamed dumpling recipe. This is usually one of my favorites, but last time they seemed to have "fish" filling rather than the usual shellfish filling."

"We have eaten at London Lennie's for over 20 years. During that time the food was always great!. This time we were very disappointed. The mussels and salad were fine but the stuffed shrimp was bready and bland and the red snapper bland and not worth eating. The skin was left on!

"Our reservation was kept timely & our waitress Marcia was excellent. A halibut was a little on the dry side but veggies were great. A snapper was deemed OK and the paper white noodles that came with a whole fish were tasteless. The fish with it was good. Another friend had a main raw tuna salad that was delicious. We thought we ordered PEI mussels but were disappointed in large green ones we got. Possibly we ordered them wrong."

"It's a good thing we had a reservation, the wait time was an hour when we got there and we even had to wait almost 15 minutes for out table. The shrimp and corn bisque was bland and watery and the arugula salad was tough to eat. The red snapper was exceptional, made up for the disappointing soup and salad. "I have been a customer of London Lennies for 30 years. It is one of the few places I feel confident eating raw oysters and clams, and I have mostly enjoyed my dining experiences there. This last time, however, I left with a bitter taste in my mouth complements of my server. The check indicated an extra charge for a side dish that was never requested and I brought it to the waitress' attention. My dinner companion asked if potatoes could be substituted for other vegetables, a wish many if not all restaurants try to accommodate. The waitress said she was not sure but would try. When I showed her the charge she insisted that the potatoes were ordered. I did not argue but this was not true and it will affect how I feel about returning."

"Took my mom, uncle and two of Mom's friends to London Lennie's for Easter dinner. We had a reservation just to make sure because this place gets really packed (esp, on holidays) As always we had a great time. We had several appetizers from lump crab stack, fish tacos, calamaris, Maine Dutch style clams to arugula salad with goat cheese and two dozen raw clams. All delicious. For entrees, we had the linguini with white clams sause, the Florida grouper, the New Zealand mussells, lobsters, crab cakes and Lennie's Beefeater burger! oh yeah we also had room for desert. Try the fruit cobbler. did i mentioned that everything is good from the service to the food. This place will be our go to place for special occasions!!!!"

"Went to London Lennies with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We both had the Crab Bisque (soup of the day), then my wife ordered the seafood liguini, and I had the John Dory with mushroom risotto. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious, the service was very friendly and warm. The only negative aspect was that we were seated next to a very noisy table, which kind of ruined the atmosphere, but it was not the restaurant's fault. We would definitely go back again."
