"We had a wonderful meal. I got to taste most of them. The deck was a bit loud from the trains and helicopters, but it's all part of the neighborhood, isn't it? A glass of house pinot noir was very pleasant. Our waitress was efficient and charming. Thank you!"

"Took my boyfriebd here for dinner, the reservation was not available right away , we had to wait approx 15 minutes and then ended up sitting somewhere other than waiting longer. However the service was great and the good was delicious! The wine list was great! We would def go back! Loved the fireplace!"

"My husband and I dined at Michelangelo's for his 40th birthday. It was our first visit, but will not be our last. Everyone from the valet parking attendant, to the hostess, to the wait staff, greeted us with friendly smiles and were attentive to our needs without hovering. The food was delicious, popping with soulful flavors, and beautifully presented. Although on the pricey side, we both felt it was worth every cent for a wonderful experience on our special occasion. The location is wonderful, too, in charming Little Italy and right around the corner from Severance Hall and so many of Cleveland's other cultural gems."

"My "test" of an Italian restaurant is the cannelloni. Michaelangelo's was "melt in the mouth." It definitely was one of the best I have had. I will go back to the restaurant on my next trip to Cleveland."

"First time here; would definitely return. I had the red snapper special -- outstanding. My spouse is a pasta lover, so he enjoyed being able to get half portions for his entre. His spicy cavatelli was a winner; the lobster ravioli was just OK -- he wouldn't necessarily have it again. Crab stuffed artichoke appetizer was a great way to start. Service was confident and not overbearing -- just the way we like it -- atmosphere was classy comfort."

"It was a very disappointing experience to say the least. We ordered and the restaurant paid no attention to the "do not use..." request. When we reminded the waitress about the mistake they took the plate to the kitchen, and changed plates, but left the exact same food reheated! I finished eating before my companion, because we had to send back the food twice due to their careless and lack of attention. They didn't even apologize, nor offered anything for their mistakes and ruining what could have been a nice night out!"

The waiter was not so wonderful. No personality and just not pleasant at all. If the food hadn't been so good it would've been really been awful. I was especially unhappy with the fact that he took my uneaten entree and never returned with a box for me to take home."

"I heard that Michaelangelo's was the place for northern Italian food back in the day. However, they have definitely started to rest on their laurels. They seem like they are riding the end of the wave from their hey day. The service was pretty great, but the food was eh. Totally not worth the hype, and definitely not the price."
