"What a great find! This restaurant has excellent food. The food is prepared as you might find at a very high end restaurant. But the prices are moderate. And Byob. Def will go back"

"My wife, a friend, and I went to this restaurant before a show on a Saturday night. Though the place isn't huge, there is ample seating. We had looked at the menu online before going and picked out some things we might try, but my wife ended up getting one of the specials, and she was happy she did. I had the Moroccan beef, and it was yummy. There was a lot of very tender beef in that pot and it had just enough spice to make me happy. Our friend had the vegetarian thali and though she didn't like everything on the plate, she really enjoyed what she did like. My wife and I really loved the vegetables that came with our meals and could've had a whole plate. Our food came out lightning fast. Very happy we stopped in here!"

"We had such a good time. The server was great and the food was outstanding. It was too spicy for one person in our party bit the rest of us loved it. Will definitely be goiing back. Love the Byob and friendly casual amosphere."

"Both times I have been to Meet 27 the food has been healthy and delicious and the service has been attentive and friendly. I love the cozy decor inside and the fact that it isn't too loud makes it a perfect spot to have a nice chat through dinner. Having an app to reserve a seat is a wonderful idea for last minute deciders like me and my friends. It's a great place to go before a show at the Ottobar and the variety for vegetarians and vegans is impressive!"

"Meet 27 was great for our group (of 16). The food was very good, and there was something for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans. The dessert was delicious also. The restaurant is BYOB."

"Although the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming (and the restaurant felt hip), the food just was poorly cooked. Trader Joe's frozen meals had better consistency."

"I found Meet 27 to be a good spot to end up for a night with a group of friends. At the same time, if I were looking for a spot to go in Baltimore, this would not be my first choice. That does not take away from the food quality and the service. Both were solid. The Sweet Potato fries were also great with a different take on a classic side that is worth the price in the appetizer. I would go back, but only if a friend suggested it as a spot.
The dessert menu left a little to be desired, but you could make that up with a walk through the hallway to Sweet 27 next door."

"Meet 27 was a very accommodating place. We arrived, but our son's family was late. Meet 27 staff cheerfully and with no fanfare moved our reservation ahead one hour. They recommended a near-by liquor store where we purchased a nice bottle of wine. We were able to sit at our table upon our return even tho' the reservation time had not arrived yet. We leisurely awaited our family with a yummy hummus plate and some wine. My entree of Moroccan Kebobs was delicious as were the steamed vegetables that accompanied them. The gluten free items were well received by our group. My daughter-in-law loved the duck. The grandchildren enjoyed burgers on gluten free rolls. All was tasty, especially the German Chocolate cake for dessert."

"I was so appreciative to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten-free items on the menu, but also created vegetarian/vegan dishes based on customer preference. The food was flavorful, generously portioned, and served quickly. I will definitely return to Meet 27. In fact, I've already spread the word about this restaurant and adjoining bakery to my vegan friends."

"We really enjoyed our meal at Meet 27. It was a bit difficult to know which person was our waiter, but all the service personnel were very nice. The red velvet cake (gluten free) was terrific and I will go back just for that! There was an interesting and varied set of menu items."

"I made a reservation at Meet 27 for my birthday, having never been there before, but wanting to try something new. My table for six was ready and waiting when we arrived and the server was immediately there to greet us and assist us with our wine (love that's it's BYOB!). I really enjoyed the laid back, but sophisticated artsy feel of the place. The service and food was excellent and I will definitely be back again soon!"

"I had eggplant Parmesan -- they used fresh tomatoes that tasted raw -- and were just lukewarm, compared to the eggplant and the cheese. Weird. Food choices were not that exciting."

"Very casual atmosphere with wonderful service. Not too many people in there when we went, but it was an early dinner. Lots of gluten-free options with a good amount of vegetarian/vegan choices. The vegetable fritters are a must -- unbelievably tasty! The ambiance is a bit strange -- large area with few people. Felt a bit empty."

The Meat: I ordered the NY strip steak. First, it was NOT a strip steak, looked like a flank steak. Second, was not cooked to order. Ordered medium and got well done. That aside, it had good flavor, but was not what I was looking for.
The veggies: Mashed potatoes were great and well seasoned. The steamed veggies, not great. It was a medley with yellow squash, kale, broccoli, carrots and thinly sliced potatoes. The potatoes an carrots were raw and the squash was overdone. I am not sure why the kale was in there, but I also got a stem in my dinner.
It's a BYO, and we were offered glasses or an opener for the beers we brought. I had to ask. They were nice but seem to have no idea about foodserv"

"The food was very good and we liked that it was spicy. The mussels were some of the best I have had. There was no grit. The spicing complimented the mussels. We ordered extra bread to sop up the sauce because we did not want to miss a single bit of the divine flavor. The lamb had a true South Indian spicing. (If you do not like things spicy, let them know in advance.) The duck was a nice medium rare. The duck serving was not as large as the lamb serving. I can't complain because I ended up bringing home about half of the lamb dish. (It did not last long at home--family members consumed it.) There is a gluten free bakery right next door to the restaurant. The murals on the walls are worth a visit on their own."

"Enjoyed the open & relaxed atmosphere. On Friday night the dining room was full and lively, and bit on the noisey side. The servers were freindly and had a good understanding of the menue items and offered helpful answers to help us decide. We had seven guest and all ordered something different. Each dish was served in an interesting presentation and everyone enjoyed thier meals. One of our guest requires a gluten free diet and she was impressed with the attention to the details and the variety of selections avialable."

"This is the only Gluten-Free Restaurant that I know of. Both my mother and I have Celiac Disease and have missed having the ability to order anything we want off the menu. The service was excellant, the food was amazing. Can't wait to have a reason to be in the area again, just so we can eat there again."
