"Ribs were meaty but dry as in warmed up after having been cooked some time earlier. Prime rib was large and tasty; owever, it would have been better with some au jus. Accompanying baked potato was excellent but the vegetables were overcooked and mushy."

"I love this restaurant. It's right in our neighborhood--a block walk in a gorgeous area if DTOP. The menus is diverse, the food is fresh & delicious, & the staff is friendly & it's clean. Yay!"

"The layout in the Ballroom of the Carlton was very elegant. One nice touch was the satin napkins in Easter colors. The buffet was excellent, the food was great and there was something for everyone; ham, roast beef, chicken, fish. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. The only downside was our server only stopped by mid-meal to ask if we wanted something to drink, then she brought the bill. An automatic 13.95 was added on for service. For the amount we spent, (95.00), I usually would have left about thirty dollars. I think she was riding on the fact that she would partake whole or in part of the 13.95, therefore, that's all she got. Other than the "forced" service charge and practically no service it was fine."

"To celebrate my 50th birthday I wanted to go someplace local and I knew Barclay's was a great choice. While their food selection isn't huge, what they do offer is usually delicious. I had the tilapia dinner and loved it. The rest of my family had the fish tacos, chopped salad and fish & chips. Everyone was very happy with their choices. They offered a free dessert for my birthday and we had the creme brulee - a very healthy portion and really yummy. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I really like the atmosphere here too - warm, inviting and just enough energy without being overstimulating. I'll definitely go back."

"Food was good overall and service was very good - enjoyed our waitress - very attentive - it was nice because we were seated next to a fireplace on a cold evening. I would recommend taking small groups here - appetizers are good sizes for sharing - desserts were okay but good."

"Was pleasantly surprized with my Valentine'e day choice. First choice was already booked. Had a 530 reservation and at that time there were plenty of tables but had definitly filled by the time we finished at 7pm. Food was good Oysters were small but tasty, Wedge salad was plentiful, Steak was very nice, Meatloaf was good (no great shakes) Would go back"
