"My wife and I went to Flight on a Friday and absolutely loved the place. We are now planning weekly returns to try their weekend specials. The wine special was particularly wonderful. It's nice for us novices to be able to get fine wine by the glass at affordable prices. The bartenders and servers were very nice and helpful. We also received kind visits at our table from the Chef and the Wine Director."

"We went for a birthday dinner and had not been here before. The restaurant was quiet and the food was excellent....Flight also provides one with the opportunity to order half glasses of wine which (since we don't drink that much) was just right for our meal."

"The poor attitude of the hostess on 4/27/13 caused us to start the evening on a negative note. She tried to get us to go to the bar because we were ten minutes early for our reservation although there were open tables where we could be seated. She seemed to find it offensive that we arrived early and repeated several times we should go to the bar which we refused and politely insisted upon being seated. It was interesting that the people she seated just before us did not have a reservation. We were a table of four and all of us were there so that was not the issue. She seemed poorly suited for her job calling us "guys" although we were well dressed 70 year old men and women. Luckily the wait-staff was far better trained."

"We had a very positive experience at Flight. All four of us loved our food!!!! From the chopped salad and crab cake appetizer to the gourmet burger and fries...everything was very tasty and had wonderful flavor. The service was spot on and we never needed to ask for more water, drinks, etc. We cannot wait to go back again."

"We've been at the Flight several times. Sometimes for dinner, sometimes for a couple glasses of wine and an appetizer at the bar. Great place, awesome food and a reasonable selection of great wines. A favorite!!!"

"I loved that we got a seat away from the fray this time. The booths on the upper level are much more peaceful than the tables below.
Our waiter must have been new -- he didn't listen to our orders carefully and three times delivered something other than what we ordered. Thankfully, that is not our normal experience at Flight.
And the food was very good, as usual."

"We arrived punctually at 8; water was served. Drink orders weren't taken until 8:15. We had to ask for bread. We placed our order at 8:20. By 8:45, I had to go to the hostess desk to inquire where our soup was. At 8:50, the server came to explain that there were 12 orders for soup. Rather than offering us another of our dishes, flat bread for example, she said the soup would soon arrive. (The soup was comped.) At 8:55 the soup, supposed to be French onion soup, arrived. It was a thin, rather tasteless consomme with a cheese topped crouton on top. The crab cake was all breading with virtually no crab to taste. The tuna flat bread was just ok. We suspect that Flight is all about the wine and that the food is an afterthought."

"I have been to flight several times and each time i am not totally satisfied. While the wine is wonderful, the menu is very limited. There are no vegetarian options other than small salads and there are not many choices in general. The service is not horrible but it is not memorable either. Although the servers have been polite, very little attention is paid to the customer. It is a great atmosphere to go and have a glass of wine or a flight but I am disappointed in it as a restaurant."

"Had a really good time at Flight. Food was excellent.
However, we sat at a table in the bar, and the poor waiter was also the bartender, so he was running like crazy to about 5 different tables. I felt like he wanted to stop and talk, but just couldn't.
We were in and out within an hour, so it really wasn't that bad, it was just the two of us.
If you are in a hurry on a Saturday night, you might want to sit in the dining room."

"What I had always heard about Flight was that it was inconsistent. That proved to be true at our visit in late January. My pasta was fine. My wife's fish was tasteless. Wines were good. Can't say we won't go back, but won't rush it."
