Anaheim White House occupies a lovely turn of the century(c. 1909) home. The menu features fresh seafood and specialties influenced by proprietor Bruno Serato's frequent trips to his hometown of Verona, Italy. Zagat says "Absolutely outstanding".."excellent" Northern Italian fare".."superb service.. always an experience." The restaurant is included in Epicurean Rendezvous' "100 Best Restaurants in Southern California", received five stars from "Southern California Restaurant Writers" and Best service from "OC Restaurant Association". The wine list features over 200 Californian and European wines.

"I took my wife, sister and mother here for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was fresh and tasty and well presented. For a brunch it was overpriced. Although this restaurant offers multiple seafood entrees they are oddly prepared - - e.g. poached salmon (out of place for either So. California or even Italy). There were very few salad options and none which offered a protein option (fish or chicken). Finally, there was only one Cabernet wine selection by the glass. I respect the owner for his accomplishments and good works but a menu revamp is perhaps in order."

"Booked reservations for Mother's Day. We were seated very quickly and had a great talbe for someone in a wheelchair.
But then then on it was downhill.
Took our drink order and asked for water. The champagne, lemonade and sparkling water arrived quickly. Ice tea took about 25 minutes and had to wait another 20 for sweetener.
Carpaccio was terrible and meat was cut too thick. Steak was ordered medium and came out well done. Took at least 15 to 20 minutes to order extra sauce for the pasta and salad dressing.
Never did receive the water after asking at least 4 times."

"This was the highlight of my son's trip to Disneyland. He loved the limo ride from our hotel and back. The food was fantastic. They even created something for my son that wasn't on the menu. They brought him a lovely dessert plate and glass of sparkling cider to celebrate his birthday. They even brought me and my husband a glass of champagne. The menu had a wide variety of items and everything we tried was fabulous. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially for those celebrating a special occasion."

"The building had that "old building stench." All of the windows were covered in heavy drapes, there was lots of yardage decorating the ceilings, etc. The odor hit you immediately as you entered the door.
The food quality was top notch. Half of our table ordered the special which came with a "vegetable" or so they said. Unfortunately I don't think 3 speers of asparagus counts as a vegie, but what do I know. What I do know is I won't be going back any time soon. This is too bad, as I think Bruno understands top-quality food. The ambience just didn't justify the high prices."

"I have been a customer of AWH for at least 10 years. Over the past few years, i have seen a decline in service and in some degree the quality of food. My last brunch with a party of four on Sunday was very poor. It will be difficult to convince me to return to this place as there are many great restaurants in OC."

To end the evening we had pre-ordered & shared the Grand Mariner Souffle, which comes w/chocolate ganache, creme anglaise & chantilly whipped cream. WOW! A must have dessert!"

"I'm from out of the area, yet this is the second time I experienced this restaurant. It is convenient to get to from the Convention Center and Disneyland. This is a visual experience with its unique whiteness mode and neo-classical art. The food is presented also for the aesthetic effect, in a kind of art nouveau style. Of course, we tried everything: appetizers, salads, main course and the amazing desert tray. The service was superb. We forgot about the limo service coming to the restaurant, but got the limo ride back to our hotel. What a memorable visit!"

"We had not been to this restaurant in nearly ten years, and were reminded all over again what a great place it is. We were there for Easter Brunch with friends and family and had a really nice experience. The service is wonderful, the food is terrific, and the cost is reasonable. "The place was beautiful. The story of the owner is amazing and what he has done! This was our first time here, the good was delicious, I ordered a pasta plate and my boyfriend the braised beef and he loved it as well. Unfortunately our experience with the service was not what I expected from such a goregous place. Maybe it was because of my boyfriends attire, he was unaware of how nice the place was, when I said Italian he assumed your typical Italian reatuaraunt, whatever the reason, I am not confident we will ever revisit any time soon."

"A colleague and I were looking for good and interesting Italian and stumbled upon Anaheim White House using an App. We were pleasantly surprised by the time the night was over. The waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and fairly attentive, while the food was very good. The best part about dining here is knowing the story: this restaurant feeds 300 underprivileged kids EVERY night of the year -- yes, every single day -- and they do more for raising charitable contributions. I was very impressed. Caveats? None."

"It's pretty good. I took my wife there for OC Restaurant Week. The service is great, and food is delicious. I know it's pricey, so that's why you go there for OC Restaurant Week 'only'. The only thing that didn't keep me happy is the valid parking. The valid guy adjusted my driver's seat, and he drove the car too far while my wife and I were waiting."

"Frequented the White House for OC Restaurant Week. Had never been before, but had heard great things, so I wanted to capitolize on the special prices that restaurant week had to offer. Great food! My picky husband chose the hanger steak and loved it. Such beautiful presentations! I ordered one of the best glasses of Pinot Noir I've ever had. The only critism I had was that for such a nice restaurant, we didn't get the best, most attentive service that I was expecting. Overall, great place and we will be recommending to all our friends and family."

"Have dined here a few times over the past few months everytime it has been more enjoyable and the food is always outstanding. The decor is a bit dated but the menu makes up for that in spades. The filet with the sauce is amazing, as is the calamari app . But the best part of the entire meal has to be the chocolate souffle. Make sure to save room for the dessert."

"I have been here multiple times over the past 15 years when in town for a Conference and it never disappoints. It's as good as it gets in the area for a nice business dinner. "When we arrived at the restaurant, the service was fine. Then everything went downhill. Our waiter was ok. But don't not check up on a refill for 30 minutes. The food was alright and we never got more bread. The decoration on the prime rib entree was bulky and took up room on the plate. The only thing we can recommend was the chocolate soufflé. Thank goodness we had a gift certificate because if we had high expectations for this place and they fell short."

"This is my second time going to the Anaheim White House and I absolutely love it! I went for Thanksgiving this past November and Brunch recently and both were outstanding. Their caesar salad is to die for, and all the entrees are so full of flavor and just the right portion. They also have a martini called the 1st Lady that is superb. Make sure to bring a package of dry pasta or pasta sauce with you, as the owner has a wonderful charity that feeds hungry children, and they can use donations.
