Front and centre is our amazing food and equally amazing executive chef, Huy Quach. Huy has a part in each and every meal that is prepared at Accent, and his experience and attention to detail is abundantly clear in all of his amazing creations. Our menu is a medley of traditional European fare combined with local favorites. Every dish is prepared using only the finest ingredients. Fresh bread, hand-picked produce and the most succulent cuts of Alberta Beef are staples in our kitchen. At Accent, quality means that every bowl of soup, every sauce and every salad dressing is made in-house from the freshest ingredients around. "There is nothing really bad to say about this place! When you walk in it reminds me of the neighbourhood pub, but that is NOT the food you get. It was AMAZING. The Bocconcini and Tomato Salad was the best one I have ever had. My husband and I agreed next time we will each have to get our own. He had the Mornet, which was very rich and excellent taste. I had the special...Crab and asparagus stuffed chicken breast. All the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Can't say enough about how good the food was.

It is a smaller place with lots of character. Service was good, and the place was clean.

Overall, there is nothing bad to say...I would definitely recommend this to friends."

"The setting provided both a casual and formal environment. I was in work clothes, as was my date, but we didn't stand out like a sore thumb, nor did the university students with their backpacks.

The wine we oringinally selected was no available but the second choices we on par. We started off with the bacon wrapped lobster (my date will eat anything with bacon), they were the perfect thing to hit the pallet after a glass of Shiraz. I enjoyed the Accent Salad (a little bit of everything)a lot, even though I requested dressing on the side. My date, did not enjoy his meal because it was colourless and tasted only of butter.

I was happy and would go back. He would also but definitely get the filet instead."

"went there for the forkfest menu. Have been there several times before and the food has always been consistent. Not a big drinker but the wine that was "included" with the forkfest menu was only soso at best. I had the white and it tasted like apple juice gone bad... Should have went with the beer from alleykat even though it probably won't match with the food. Anyhow it's only $35 so the price justify the "quality". Would have preferred the option of scrapping the drink and just sticking with the food esp for those who don't drink."

"It was very busy the night we went and the poor waitress was running around serving tables of 10 or so...the 2 of us were 'sort of' left out for a while at the start but then the service got better. The steak tartar was great (as always). It is VERY tasty and one of our favorites places to go for tartar."
