"I had not been to Helga's since they moved and I was disappointed. Food was just ok and my friend's dinner was worse.
Potatoes were not typical German but just boiled and lots of salt on them. Schnitzel was overly thin with lots of breading."

"While it was a bit busy when we arrived, it wasn't that busy midway into our meal and after. our waitress was less than attentive, not checking back as well as not appearing so we could pay and we had to seek her out. She was friendly enough, just lackadaisical. We like the food but wouldn't return for it particularly. Portions are generous and nicely presented, as well as good homey German food. Of course, having the beer choices was fun. We probably wouldn't go back, however. We have friends for whom it's their favorite restaurant and the crowds attested to that, so patrons should try it for themselves."

"Really enjoyed my food. My husband, son and his girlfriend went with me for a birthday celebration. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was happy with their meal. A little pricey but quantity was good. Great selection of entrees and we will be going back to try something else from the menu."
