"My family and I dined here this past Friday evening to celebrate my son's graduation from UB and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had a rib steak that was as good and tender as any I've had at the finest steakhouses in the NYC metropolitan area. The service was great; very attentive, patient, and helpful. We were afforded the time to dine. The only thing that I was a little dissatisfied with was our table location. We were seated by the wait station and it was a little noisy when they were refilling the trays with utensils. Also I thought it was a little pricey for Buffalo. Prices were comparable if not more than restaurants in the NYC area. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would recommend this restaurant without reservations."

"I read awesome reviews, the restaurant received 4-5 stars from other reviewers. Admittedly I had sticker shock at the prices of entrees, but assumed it would be worth it. I was shocked at the diner-like quality of the physical menu, and the daily specials menu was full of typos. We had to return a ribeye and a veal chop because they were well done. The staff was young, but polite and gracious. Overall I felt like I was being planked, but sadly I was not. Caveat emptor!"

"My family and I have dined here several times and it has been a great overall experience every time. The staff is very attentive and professional. "This is not my first time at this restaurant. I love the food and I was craving a steak. I took my children and it was a week day. They were VERY accommodating, however I still felt a little uncomfortable with the volume of my children's voices and the extreme quiet of the restaurant.

Wife's special salad was very good.
My huge rib eye steak was a great piece of meat, a bit over done for me as I ordered Med Rare, but not enough over done for me to complain.
Wife's Kansas City Strip was a no-show as there was some confusion when she canceled her Chop Salad and ordered the Special Salad that we only knew about from the other waiter at the next table giving all the specials, there was a Bass and Risotto dish that we didn't know about either, but we were there for steak anyway. So they fired her Medium Well Steak and it came out charred on the outside but super rare on the inside, might have been to rare for me. She ate the outside of the steak and took the rest home, free glass of wine."

"I've been to Chophouse before and it pains me to write this review. We went on valentines day. It was busy. I expected that, but the service from our waiter was almost painful. When it came time to order, he showed up at our table and just stood there waiting for us to order. He never introduced himself, went over the specials, menu, or anything. He just stood there. It took over an hour to get our food. I'll overlook that of course since it was a very busy night.
The food was excellent as usual, and at least the busboy was pleasant and talkative."

"Have eaten steaks all over buffalo and the world. We vacation approx every 2 months and always try to find the best restraunts availible, price is not a consideration.
