"I think of State Street for its lively evening bar scene, but the brunch menu is wonderfully diverse and well priced. Avoid outdoor dining on weekdays be ause of heavy truck traffic on the street, but on Sundays it is calmer."

"The Grill was hopping last Friday night. The food was good and there are lots of drinks to chose from. The restaurant is extremely loud - even in the back room, so just be prepared. It's a fun place and definitely a good stop in Clark's Summit"

"My family and I went for Sunday brunch and it was a great experience. The only complaint I have is that our reservation was for 12:15 but our table wasn't ready (even though we could see others available) and we had to wait almost 20 minutes. The food however was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals. The bloody marys were inventive and quite delicious with a fair amount of alcohol. We didn't have to wait long for our food and everything was very enjoyable. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back."

"On Sun.,May 12, our party of 6 spent the later evening enjoying State St Grill. The food was of excellent quality and the restaurant itself delightful. The daisies we purchased beforehand were large,fresh and colorful. My daughter,whose college graduation we were celebrating, was thrilled by the whole experience! We will do it again!"

"This restaurant was an amazing find after a long day of driving. We were not from the area and was pleased to dine at such a fun and relaxing place instead of the usual chain restaurant. I will recommend State Street Grill in Clarks Summit to any of my friends and colleagues traveling in that area. I ordered blue cheese stuffed olives with my martini, they didn't have any, so they made them for me, Excellent. I believe our server's name was Meghan, she was very pleasant and made great recommendations. Highly recommend the signature blue cheese Delmonico. I didn't leave a bite behind. We preferred eating on the lively bar side, but you can request a quieter dining room setting. I will be back."

"Ordered the Sesame Seared Tuna entree, Tuna was cooked well and the sauce was good but the side items were not seasoned at all. Bland noodles, bok choy, and baby corn. Also, it needed something sweet on the plate instead of that mango chutney, it was too assertive in flavor and dominated anything I paired it with."

"Food here has always been a decent notch above, and we've always done brunch so there's a nice bridge between the morning and afternoon crowds and selections. The caramelized onion soup is a consistent favorite. The Huevos Rancheros are also very pleasing."

"State Street is a great place to go for a bite to eat and a drink or two. I steer away from their entrees because they are expensive but you will be just as happy with their small plates, flatbreads and salads. Sweet potatoe fries are a must!"

"Our multi generational group of 13 had a wonderful evening. Menu had something for everyone, we had a nice area to the rear of the place. Mushroom ravioli was very good and reasonable to boot. Kids were served drinks quickly...only issue is that service was slow, and not even bread was brought out to tie us over. It was a busy Saturday night so it is somewhat understandable.
Would definitely return and recommend to others."
