Caffe Molise is a full service restaurant featuring fresh Italian cuisine inspired by the Molise region of Italy. Enjoy dinner surrounded by local art in our dining room or choose a table on our delightful garden patio. Friday evenings feature live jazz with the John Flander's Trio. Caffe Molise is the perfect pre-theatre, opera, symphony, concert, or sporting event dining location and is conveniently located downtown at 55 West 100 South, directly across from Crossroads Mall. "It's hard to go wrong with Caffe Molise. The food is top-notch every time, and I have never experienced bad service. Can be busy if there's a convention in town, but it's always worth checking. Open Table reservation was seamless."

"My wife and I went to Caffe Molise this past weekend, enjoyed the bacon and cheese appetizer special, split the Arista (amazing pork with fig sauce), then split a cheesecake and hazlenut mousse cake. The food was great and sitting outdoors made the night a special one. We would definitely recommend Caffe Molise (and have) to friends."

"Caffe Molise was a great space for a large family dinner. We went on a Saturday night so the restaurant was quite busy with other customers. We were seated outdoors on their lovely patio dining area. We had a wonderful server and food was ready, hot and delicious in what seemed like very little time for such a large group (15). The ambience on the patio is very nice. We did have a couple of small children with us and the wait staff was very good about splitting a lasagne dish between the two. Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely be back."

"I've dined at Caffe Molise several times and really enjoy the experience. This last evening was much busier than usual and the place was packed. The staff did a good job of taking our order and serving promptly. The food was fabulous. The halibut special was a tad salty, but the texture was perfect. A great meal. The only downside was a loud crowd of women celebrating in the back. They were a bit overwhelming."

"Food and service was very good. Unfortunately, there was a large group, probably from a conference in town, that were very loud and crowding our 'personal space'. It was nearly impossible to carry on our own conversation. I realize that management cannot control such situations, but it made our dining experience very unpleasant. If we were to ever dine here again, I would probably call ahead to see if we could expect a more 'romantic' atmosphere for the evening. We had to leave early so not able to enjoy the live entertainment."

Always save room for dessert here as the Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse Cake is the most popular item on the menu. It's large enough to share but you won't want to."

"the service was very good, the staff could not be nicer. the food was not nearly as good as other reviews i saw. it was fine, nothing wrong with it but certainly nothing special. in fact, less than a week later i can not remember a single dish that my wife or i ordered, i.e. nothing memorable."

"We'll give Cafe Molise another chance. We eat there a couple of times a year.
We had a great night with good friends but out server was disinterested, did not offer dessert and when we ordered creme brulee, sold out.
he put an auto gratuity on our table of 6, without mentioning it.
as former servers, we tipped additional anyway."

"We had a group of 6 people for a business lunch. The food was excellent and the server gave the right amount of attention not to disrupt our discussions. The music was a little loud when we got there, but was turned down without us asking.
I had the papardelle with meat and was very pleased.

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in SLC! The food is always amazing! The even have a live band that plays on weekends. The only thing I wish they would change is the tables and chairs. The chairs are hard wood so they aren't very comfortable to sit on."

"While I've been a fan of Caffe Molise for many years I hadn't had the opportunity to try their brunch menu until recently. I was beyond impressed with my Anacardi Tostata which was battered in a Frangelico/cashew coating. It was not only incredibly yummy but beautifully plated as well. The Bloody Marys on the menu are also of the highest caliber and taste homemade and not like they were poured from a can. I would recommend Caffe Molise's brunch to any foodie and I'll definitely be back with friends."

"Simply one of the very best Italian meals I've ever had the pleasure to experience. I was having trouble deciding between a couple of the chicken entrees and my server recommended the Polla alla Gratella and I couldn't have had better advice! If I've ever had a more delicious chicken entree in an Italian restaurant I honestly I can't recall. The menu was full of other dishes, both appetizers and entrees, that I look forward to trying on other occasions. The ambiance was simply lovely and the service was outstanding, in spite of the fact that it was full and packed with people waiting for a table. Overall a fabulous meal and truly delightful dining experience, I can't recommend this enough!"
