"Tuscany has my absolute favorite Italian food. I love the bulb of garlic with olive oil and Parmesan to start. The salad that has greens, black olives, hearts of palm, sun dried tomato and Parmesan cheese is great. I order pasta arriabata that is not on the menu but I always ask for (it was on there years ago). It has the best sauce of any I have ever tasted.
Service was not great. Had to ask for water refills, more bread, etc. But the waitor had a nice sense of humor and was pleasant. Sitting outside in the summer is also a pleasure. Love the place!"

"The only thing we didn't like about the evening was that we didn't have time for dessert because we had to be at another event in the area. We asked the server if we could come back later, around 10 pm, for dessert. He said "we will be open and would love to serve you dessert then." When we returned, the only place they allowed us to sit was at the bar. There were four of us, so it's a little difficult having a decent conversation at a bar. We ordered a wonderful-sounding dessert that the bartender raved about. They brought us our drinks, then we found out that they were out of dessert. (It's the reason we came!) So, we finished and paid for our drinks and left very disappointed. Still had to pay for the coffee and drinks."

"When we arrived our OpenTable reservation was honored immediately as our group of 5 was ushered to our seating. Our corner window table facing Taylor Street lent an especially intimate feel to being in this one-large-room restaurant. An octopus appetizer from the daily specials menu was wonderfully tender and fresh. Chicken Montecarlo is clearly a house specialty: nicely presented, richly flavored on a bed of perfectly cooked spinach."

"Went here for a birthday dinner with family, and have been here a number of times previously. Both kids and adults enjoyed their food. Wine was delicious - had the Baby Amarone. Had the penne with scallops - had a kick to it which I didn't expect when I ordered it, but I liked it. Other guests had the eggplant parmigiana, Margherita pizza and the Capellini - standard dishes, but still good and reliable!"

"We had a great time. Jackson was our server, and he was very cordial, attentive and knowledgeable. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, and we never had to wait for anything. Jackson helped us with our drink choices and our menu selections. The food and drinks were outstanding! Perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Even though it was crowded and busy, we were still able to have a good conversation throughout dinner.

"What a wonderful Italian restaurant! Make reservations as it is very busy.
The service is amazing.From the time we were first seated,our waiter was attentive and helpful.The evening begins with your waiter mashing a clive of fresh garlic and mixing it with oil,to create a very tasty spread for the delicious breads in your basket.Our waiter was extremely courteoys and very willing to discuss any of the dishes we had questions about and to engage in conversation with us about the various flavors in the dishes we were actually experiencing.
Again,we are anxious to return to try some of the other sishes on the menu.Although it was not necessarily an Italian dish,the beet salad with pine nuts,goat cheese and citrus was delicious."
