The Greek Islands Restaurant has been owned and operated by the Stergiopoulos family since 1987 and is the place to go for authentic and homemade Greek food in Indianapolis. Come and enjoy wonderful food, fine Greek wines, ice cold Greek beer, and a larger than life atmosphere at the Greek Islands where there is belly dancing every Friday and Saturday night and the cheese (saganaki) is always on FIRE!
"We were celebrating a birthday and the service could not have been better! My friend felt so special! The authentic Greek food is fabulous and reasonably priced. Easily had lunch and got back to work on time. It's not quite as fancy as some other restaurants, but the food and service is top of the line!"

"The Greek Islands restaurant has always been one of our favorite places to eat. The Stergiopoulos family always treats you like you're part of their family. The food is wonderful and plenty for leftovers. Don't miss the Saganaki (flaming cheese)!"

"Still the best and most authentic greek restaurant in Indy. Fairly Close to downtown too and plenty of parking in the back. The food is as good as what i ate growing up with yaya and that is a compliment i dont give lightly! the waitstaff is helpful and friendly and the greek music in the background adds ambiance without being intrusive. Though I did want them to turn it up so I could sing along!"

"Always great food! And usually a fun atmostphere. This night, the night of the ice storm, was particularly quiet and not much "energy" in the restaurant. Even the music which is usually energetic and fun, was turned very low and barely audible. Overall, a great experience foodwise."
