The most honored bar-b-que producer in the Twin Cities for over 38 years. Independent and family owned and operated, Rudolphs has twice won "Best Ribs in America." Our unrivaled ribs are rubbed with spices and slow cooked in our custom pit. Our creamy cole slaw is just as famous as our ribs.
Rudolphs now has a brand new menu, adding lighter fare options such as flatbreads, seafood dishes, sliders, salads and more. Don't worry, all of the Barbecue we are famous for is still on the menu
"Rudolph's still has a great a flavor of food and fun. Family went there after the special Mother's Day menu had ended and still enjoyed a variety of great food off the regular dinner menu. When Rudolph's sticks to their specialty of barbeque "anything", they are one of the best places to eat for a moderate price in the Twin Cities! I'm glad I was able to reaquaint myself with their great food. We had a super waiter who capped off a great evening with good service and an ability to keep things festive!"

"Growing up we used to frequent Rudolph's whenever we had a special occasion. It had been a while since we'd been there and it's still just as I remembered. Their ribs and coleslaw are the best! We also had a awesome server...he was so energetic and engaging. We hope to make it there more often in the near future."

"Waitress was very poor Was not on the ball Took almost 40 minutes to get a menu It took another 20 minutes to get beverages As this is unusual of Rudalphs Most often I can't speak Enough of Rufolphs But on this location service was horrible There was a Group in the bar section that was screaming their heads off the entire time we were there We could hear them way in the back I'm not against having a good time for the fact that it is a bar But when they are so loud that you can't hear yourselves think or talk there's a problem"

"We are a regular patron (once per month) and the service and food quality does not see consistent. We had a reservation for a booth in the main dining room and got seated in the bar even though tables were available. We asked to be moved and then it was fine. We ordered the dinner for 2 and the top ribs were fresh and meaty, but the bottom layer were burned and dry. Server was fine - nothing special. Again food is good, but it's inconsistent."

"Rudolph's has always been the choice for barbecue food and Greek food Had the Mediterranean platter and man it was fantastic best ever Mediterranean hummus I have ever had . Kyle was the server and he was a true class act . I Had crispen cider and it was phenomenal tap hard cider gluten free beer . It will beat famous Dave's any day of the year hands down ,don't waste time with Famous Dave's because the prices are about the same only you have first class Service and food . Except for Calhoun square they do not have a location with good ambiance ."

"They have changed the menu recently, but I don't think that is a bad thing. I will say that I miss the Gone with the Wings app. If it's your first time there you should order the 3 meat dinner, so you can try a few different things. Brisket is good and the coleslaw is great! You can buy the Rudolphs Coleslaw Dressing in most grocery stores around here. The service was great with our waiter being honest about what he likes and doesn't like on the new menu. As someone who was used the old ways, I appreciated his honesty."

"We thought that Rudolphs had changed since we were last there years ago. While the food was good, it wasn't what we remembered from our previous visit maybe 10 years ago in terms of quality. The crowd seemed older and we were surprised that on a Saturday night the place was half empty. Not sure we'd rush back."

"The ribs were delicious as always, but the service was so bad that it even interfered with the quality of the food. We waited quite a long time for the food, and finally it was brought by a different waitress - but I'm guessing it ha been sitting for quite a while as the mashed potatoes were cold. However, there was no chance to tell the waitress this because she never came by again until she left the check a half hour later. No checking to see how the food was, no refills, no contact. Very disappointing."

"Our table for eight was in the back and was just the right area for our group. It was a very relaxed evening and service for us was well-timed and friendly. The ribs were at their best along with the famous cole slaw. Have been going to Rudloph's for the past 25-30 yrs and hope to return many more times."

"The Bogey (full rack of St.Louis style ribs) has always been my favorite at Rudolph's and the other night's was the best I've ever enjoyed. I asked for a rack well-done because I like them lean with a good tug and gnaw and Carl saw to it. Coleslaw is the best in town. The new beans were tasty and a bit more on the ketchup side than Rudolph's BBQ sauce. GF had the brisquet that was great as well. The owner stopped by once to check in and Carl was very attentive and timely. A very enjoyable hour and a half. I highly recommend Rudolph's as the Best Rib Joint the Twin Cities has to offer."
