"The cream of crab soup was spectacular - thick, well-seasoned with lumps of crab meat. They have a nice selection of salads and pasta for lunch. The problem was choosing what to order. Their homemade coconut sorbet was light and refreshing."

"The overall experience was excellent on all levels. Atmosphere is an ideal blend of white table cloth and elegant casual dining. Our waiter (Cooper) was personable and sincere and added to the enjoyment of the evening. Excellent wine selection. Beef Carpaccio was perfect (a special that I miss on the regular menu). The Osso Bucco was prepared superbly and melted off of the bone. It was served with a risotto which complimented the dish well. All Apps (Seared Tuna, Caprese Salad, Oysters Liberatore)were delicious. The Cream of Crab soup was one of the best we have had. Liberatore's is consistently enjoyable and highly recommended."

"Food was good but average. We had a later reservation and had the place to ourselves. The attached bar was EXTREMELY loud, but seemed like people were having a good time. Overall, this was an "OK" experience."

"This was an 80th birthday celebration that was very well done. The food was excellent, wait staff attentive and friendly, and they even took a personal cake and presented it very nicely for each person. This is a special go to place for a nice meal!"

"We had a pleasant time on a Friday night. The restaurant was not very crowded and we were seated immediately. We were approached by our server in a timely fashion. I said I did not want a drink immediately, but later asked to see the wine list in order to order a glass of wine. Sadly, no one came back to our table to ask me if I had decided which wine I wanted.
Our server "handed us off sometime before the dinner was served. I felt he should have said something before this happened."

"First the hostess could not find my reservation, and even though I had written confirmation on my cell phone, wanted to sit us in the bar. finally she found my reservation and thus seated us in the main dining room.
The veal piccata was over breaded, and swimming in the sauce, altho a fairly good piece of meat. Vegetables of the day were limp with the string beans looking as though they had been cooked twice."

"Our experience was not good from the start. We had a reservation which was not ready when we got there. We were asked to wait at the bar and they forgot about our reservation and said "We've been waiting for you. Where have you been?" Finally, after being seated, our server didn't come for 10 minutes and our food didn't come for another 55 minutes (with no update from the server). I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone! The food was decent, but few options without pasta. Ughh... We wanted a night out without our kids and that was successful but would not go back again..."

Clams casino and oysters appetizers were good but not remarkable. Salad was average and too cold. The ultra cold temperature blocked the flavor of the greens and the dressing. Cocktails were generous pours and did the job. Tira Misu dessert was good. Will dine there again."

"The atmosphere at Liberatore’s Timonium is elegant and old world. The servers dress in tuxedos, and the service is very good—water glasses are filled, bread is replenished, your drink orders are taken and delivered promptly, etc. The dinners ranged from very good to OK. One person ordered pasta e fagiole and one ordered cream of crab soup to start, and both were very happy with their appetizers. The two who ordered crab bruschetta thought that two slices of Italian bread with some crab and chopped tomatoes on them for $10 was a bit steep in price, especially since there wasn’t much flavor and the tomatoes made the bread soggy. It was not as good an appetizer as it sounded. The sauvignon blanc wine was very good, but why would two club soda"

"My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and wanted to go to a place that was above the average places we have been to but stay within a reasonable price range. Liberatore's in Timonium offered just that. We had 7:30 reservations via Open Table and they sat us down immediately. The decor is upscale, comfortable and romantic w/ a good wine list. My wife is a vegetarian and this menu had a good number of pasta and other dishes to choose from. The tables are close to each other which makes it a bit noisy but in a positive, energetic way. Parking is not an issue. Wait staff was friendly and professional. We have this place at the top of our list for our next celebration."

"We chose to go here with a group of 8. I liked that they sat us at a round table because it was easy to talk together. The bread that was served was fresh but cold. The food was good but was nothing to write home about and quite pricey for what it was. The dinners cone with a small side of pasta but salad is extra."

"We frequent Liveratore's in Timonium several times a year as it is one of our favorite restaurants. We have never had a bad experience there in both food and service. We have dined there as a couple as well as some special events and the staff has always gone above and beyond to make our visit memorable."

"Food quality was sporadic. Their house salad was white as a ghost- last I heard lettuce was supposed to be green. On the other hand their Endless Summer Salad was beautiful and tasted great. We had the Salmon and the Pollo Pepperoncini (or something like that)- both dishes were okay, but noticeably salty."
