"Ambiance is a short on any sense of coziness. Quiet, clean, but a bit sterile. Live entertainer grated a bit on the ears.
Presentation and cut of food was great, but prime rib lacked flavor as did the Calamari starter. Salad was excellent.
Prices were not too bad (just a bit), but food flavor was not worthy of the cost.

"The only comment I have is that the steak was lukewarm. However, it was delicious. We couldn't remember if it had been lukewarm before. We have only eaten here twice before in the recent past. Our other experience is too long ago to remember when. We consider this a special occasion eating spot. So this time was our 39th anniversary and we will be back because we enjoyed it very much."

"Normally we LOVE LS&B, but one of the meals was so bad (halibut) that it had to be sent back. It was smothered in onions and it was not cooked properly - very mushy. It was exchanged for a barrel steak which wasn't up to LS&B's excellent standards. The other 2 barrel steaks we ordered that night were perfect. We were there for my son's birthday which we have celebrated here for the past 26 years. We will be back, but it was a little disappointing.

"Lock Stock and Barrel has become our favorite restaurant for special occasions. The food is a little more expensive than other places we've gone, but it is well worth it! The salad bar is fresh and the clam chowder is the best we've had in the area. We love the steaks. There is a wide variety and they are cooked to perfection. I don't order prime rib out, but my son let me taste his and it was outstanding. This week four of us were dining and each of us had something different. Embarrassing as it is to admit, there was not a scrap of food left! The service in the bar and restaurant was excellent. We will definitely return and I recommend Lock Stock and Barrel to anyone asking for a good place to eat."

"The rib is very good, very moist and tender, one of the best rib i've tasted. But the side dish is horrible, the mushroom and the clam chowder are way too salty. The bread is hard and tasteless. The all you can eat salad bar is a good idea but the choice again is very limited."

"I didn't ask for anything special,but I did send them an Email explaining that it was my husbands birthday, and it was kind of a surprise for him. "the service was very good,server was very friendly. atmosphere was good,my fience had a awesome t-bone,i had the prime rib and lobster tail.unfortunatly when we got our meal,my prime was luke warm,and got coldquickly ! i really couldent enjoy my meal, it was a special night out for the both of us,after a family emergency i helped her move here from minnesota,than i had to return there to get things in order, i have recently returned after five months of seperation , i got cold prime rib !! all in all the food was good and a nice place,"

"My wife had the steak with the blue cheese on top which she said was very good. I had the prime rib. To be honest if you would blind fold me ad put the prime rib from lock stock and barrel in front of me and one from Texas Road House I would not be able to taste the difference except Texas Road House is about $15.00 cheaper."

"Lock, Stock and Barrel is the type of place that makes me tear up thinking of my dad. The first thing I noticed were the saloon style chairs with wheels which reminded me of a place Dad loved called Scotch and Sirloin. He would love this unpretentious restaurant for its classic American vibe and the quality of the food. I started out with a garden salad that was perfectly dressed and very tasty. Then, I had the beef filet with rice. The filet was cooked to my order and was a generous portion. My friend had the cedar plank salmon and was happy as well. I was told by my server that lunches are served here so I will be back again soon. I will be a regular here."

"This was our first time. I had a few concerns, that sound sizable,but did not ruin our evening. My wife and I ordered different size cuts of prime rib but there was no difference in the sizes other than the price. Also, I ordered medium rare and she ordered medium. Her's came medium rare and mine was definitely medium. I might mention too that you are not bashful about your prices. They seemed to be much more than the worth. That was true for the food as well as the drinks. As a result, this will be a special occasion place for us and not a regular place to eat nor will it be a place for entertaining friends. While special occasions are very few for us, we do eat out quite often. Your waitress saved the evening."

"My husband and I just loved it! He had the prime rib, which was HUGE,and I had a barrel steak. Excellent quality!! The atmosphere was this great balance of nice and casual. The service was perfect. We will go there again and again!!"

"Food and service was great as normal but the hostess forgot to log in our reservation when we arrived & so I got a call later that evening indicating I missed my reservation while I was still @ restaurant. Since I had my phone on silent, I didn't respond to call until later that evening while trying to enjoy a basketball game. I'be been a patron to Lock Stock for over 15 yrs and it has always been great food & service."
