"I typically reserve Imperial Koi for more special occasions. I feel Imperial Koi is the best sushi place in town, and that's all I ever get when I go there. I do, however, go to other sushi places a lot more frequently because of the price. Kabuto is my favorite place for the value and quality whereas Imperial Koi is the best if you ignore price."

"We decided to try this restaurant based on the positive reviews on this site. We went on Sunday at 2 pm, which was lunchtime. There were three of us. We all had the bento box lunch. It was fine but no better than we would have gotten at a take out restaurant. The California roll was mushy and the rest of the food (including the hot and sour soup) was bland. The atmostphere was nice and the service was good. Note: some rolls on their website menu are not on the lunch menu (of course, there were the ones I wanted to order), which is why I ordered the bento box."

"Imperial Koi Asian Bistro is very quiet - lovely atmosphere and the food was very delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and polite. they waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The menu has a wide variety of foods, grilled, sushi, fresh, baked all kinds of oriental foods are available and served in tasteful displays. I highly recommend the restaurant."

"The Sashimi Sampler and Duck Spring Roll appetizers were excellent, as were the cocktails. The Day-boat Scallops were a little tough, but the accompanying wild mushroom and spinach risotto and vanilla butternut silk was "to die for." Husband was less than impressed with the Mongolian Beef."

"My girlfriend loved the sushi, I ordered one of their regular meals and found it to taste very fresh and yet a tad bland but overall it was very good. The atmosphere was the best part; modern and romantic. The service was excellent, especially it being valentine's night. I would definitely return for my next special occasion."

"Love the vibe of Imperial Koi. Food is good and we have had great service every time we have gone. I would have given it all 5 stars if we hadn't had reservations 2 weeks in advance and ended up sitting by the entrance, which was a high traffic bummer area for a Valentine's date. I am still not sure how they manage to keep this place so quiet even with a completely full dining. We spoke softly all night, which was nice. The wait staff is the best in town by far. The food menu changes so that was a nice surprise. Duck spring rolls were fabulous, but probably seasonal. We will be going back for our wedding anniversary and requesting a window seat."
