"The service was excellent. The Guacamole was outstanding! The Burrito was "ok" wish there was more Mole Sauce on top and wish it had more flavor. The Black Beans were bland. The portions for the price were excellent and the cocktails were outstanding. Yes I would go back again."

"Heard about Mezcal on the Phantom Gourmet. Made reservations & was glad I did - it was busy. Found it odd & a little uncomfortable that there wasn't anyone right there to greet/seat us. Eventually, after some looking around, someone walked up from the back to seat us. A waitress asked us what we'd like to drink right away, but it took quite some time for her to come back and ask us about food, and a while for us to get it once we ordered. The atmosphere was decent, but the music was overly loud. The Tropical Guacamole was incredible, though - best we've had (in fact, we tried to replicate it at home the next night!). The food was really good, too - different choices than your 'typical' Mexican place. We'd go back, but not regularly."

"This place was outstanding. From the second we walked in we knew we were well taken care of. Our waitress was EXCEPTIONAL. This was the best service I've experienced in a long time. She was fun, knowledgable and just there when you needed her to be.

The food was also outstanding. I had the duck quesadilla which was delicious. My wife had the pork tostada and she loved it. My son ordered had the veggie quesadilla - which he loved. We also shared the guacomole sampler which was excellent."

"This was our Wedding Anniversary Dinner and second trip to Mezcal. We found ourselves making the same comments to each other we did during our last visit. Great Drinks. We should have stuck with appetizers to include the house guacamole and skipped the main courses. The food is fair, the waitress friendly, but the service was SLOW and the food was lukewarm to cold when it was delivered. To give them credit they comped the cold dish (tacos). The months feature desert was a chocolate tort which had the consistency of a Jumbo Hershey bar, Really tasty and a good size serving but required an icepick to break up. I have been fortunate to have been able to eat in great restaurants and hidden gems all over the country, this is not one of them"
