"We sat at the bar and had great service with all the bartenders. The menu has an average (albeit large) selection but the food itself is surprisingly tasty. I had the chipotle mac and cheese and really enjoyed it! My friend ordered the cherry bread pudding and was raving over it. My favorite part? They had Summer Shandy on tap!"

"This was my second visit. Our biggest issue with this restaurant is that it is so noisy that conversation is just about impossible. I actually had a sore throat when I left from trying so hard to be heard across our table of 4 people. The food is ok - not spectacular, but I didn't really expect more. Just wanted a convenient place to meet friends. In the end, we ate as quickly as we could so that we could go outside and talk."

"If you are looking for a menu that has english-type fare, this is the place to go. Scotch Eggs were very good. I saw others around us enjoying the fish and chips. I had the turkey club and it was quite good - not the typical club sandwich. Corned Beef reuben was also very good. Very nice beer selection - some local brews and some native to England."

"We have been to Thirsty Lion many times and am always amazed at how consistent they are. The service is always impecable and efficient. They are all so friendly!
The food is great, always exactly the way I order it!
We saw several large groups and they can easily be accomodated.

"We got seated right away, but it was a little loud inside and knew it might bother my parents. My fiancé went to ask if we could be moved outside and his request was quickly accommodated, even though there was a wait! The food was great as always. It ds t take unusually long to get drinks from the bar though and that was a little annoying. All in all we love this place!"

"New to the area and have never been to Tempe Market Place, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The Thirsty Lion was nestled just at the corner of it all, so great access....... The Patio was great and had a view overlooking the shops and activities...... Inside was very busy, since it was a Friday and HH..... But still were seated very quickly. The menu had a little of everything on it and prices were good. The staff was attentive (even though busy). We took our time, not rushed, and we had drinks and then ordered apps. The food was very good..... We never made it to the actual dinner part of the menu due to the fact that the apps filled us up! We enjoyed people watching and the big screen TV's."

"Great food and a great overall place, but our waitress was terrible and the whole hour and a half we were there we seen her twice, and she never even came back to ask if we wanted ketchup or how the food was, drinks wern't refilled, and it wasn't even busy in her section. She came back to help the table right next to us what seemed like every 5 minutes but ignored us the whole time."
