"I have been there twice in less than 3 months to celebrate special occasions. The second time took my daughter and she was disappointed that they didnt have kids menu. She found something she liked but I think they should considered adding a kids menu. Overall, it was a good experience"

"I loved being able to make a reservation on line. I was early and they were able to seat us right away. I have been here many times for our anniversary dinner and I'm never dissapointed. The menu has a great variety of seafood, chicken and steaks. The food is fresh and the sauces and cheeses add a perfect touch the dish."

"We had a very tasty dinner here; we both had the specials: mine was lobster/corn chowder, with a side of asparagus and a salad. The side of asparagus was a bit puzzling; 6 spears, well-cooked, but somehow out of place with a soup and salad; better as a side on a hot dish. Soup broth was almost too rich, deeply flavored, loads of cream. Way too much cheese on the Caesar salad. My husband's special was a little less satisfactory; swordfish, a treat for us (at $24), was just a tad over-cooked. It was on a small bed of rice, and then - very oddly - topped with a serving of COLD not very interesting cole slaw. Not very complementary flavors, and cold salad on hot fish just doesn't go. The bread was outstanding; warm, very fresh."

"Easide Grill has always been a favorite of mine, for many years!! This past time, the service was excellent. The appetizer, fried oysters, were yummy and perfect, salad great too. Then i got my meal, and was disappointed. I sent the crawfish etouffe back, i am probably spelling this wrong !!I re-ordered blackend scallops and steak, the steak was raw,so, well, what happens when you send your meal back, it spoils the dining experience. The scallops were done great, and i had the steak leftover w/ my hubby the next night, and it was perfect!!!When we go out and pay alot for a meal we expect the whole dining experience to be great. If I was the owner I would have given a discount on the bill to make it right. It may be a bit before we go back."

"This was our second time here and it was amazing both times. From drinks to appetizer to entrée to dessert, everything was perfect and delicious! Service was superb ... even though it was Easter Sunday. Will definitely go back."

"I agree with a number of other reviewers that this is ok, but not great. It was nice to be able to make a reservation, although Northampton was not busy anywhere last night and we could have gone anywhere. Often the wait is so long at other restaurants that being able to make a reservation is worth it. The service was excellent, as were the squash and apple soup and the squash ravioli. I ordered the seafood risoto, that a number of diners had commented on favorably. I found it bland and kept adding salt. Given the number of outstanding restaurants in Northampton, I would only go again if the town were very busy and making a reservation was essential."

"Simply put, I have been going to the Eastside Bar & Grill since the early 90's. I have NEVER had a bad meal. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Northampton. I love the atmosphere and mostly the fine prepared dish."
