"I recently accompanied my husband to New York for a business meeting and needed to find a place to meet a colleague for lunch and to serve as a home base before and after the meeting. We chose Tir Na Nog primarily because of its location and could not have been happier with our choice. Our server made us feel welcome to stay as long as we liked, providing service when we needed it but never making us feel compelled to order or rush through our meal. We ordered traditional Irish fare for lunch. My fish and chips was good but not outstanding. My husband said that the shepherd 's pie was delicious. Overall, a good place to meet for lunch or a drink. We will definitely return."

"It was St. Patrick's Day and there was live music - great but way too loud. The staff did everything they could to move us to a quieter seat. Staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Menu was limited today for the special occasion - food was great as usual.
