Amici Italian Restaurant in ORLANDO is in the heart of Disney. Located in the beautiful Lake Buena Vista Area. We are footsteps from all major hotels and theme parks.
Amici has the best of old world Italian cuisine. Stared in 1999 in St.Augustine by Vito & Vinnie. Orlando was the next step to showcasing a menu that won best Italian restaurant in St. Augustine for 9 years running. From our home cooked sauces, desserts and dressings to everything being cooked to order, Amici has a wide range of Italian specialties to satisfy your craving of great Italian food.
Come see why we are not a chain and how our recipes go back to "mama Giovanna" from Sicily.
We have a beautiful patio and tiki bar called THE SUNSET DECK. If you want to watch the water and sip on some frozen drinks our bar masters and drink specialist will make a drink right for you. Come by after the parks close for our late night menu.

"Spent a long weekend near Disney World. Dining on site was VERY expensive and not always worthy of the price, so my husband and I decided to eat dinner outside of "the world".
We were so happy we did! The restaurant had a very nice menu and we had difficulty deciding between our many options. We were very happy to get away from a kid centric world to a more adult atmosphere.
Service was swift and friendly.
We both ordered pasta dishes and salads. The salad was huge and fresh. The pasta was delicious and the portion LARGE."

"The owner/manager was very nice and the waitress was sweet but I would never go back. It's a great place if you have small kids but not for me. Screaming children ruined the evening. The food was just OK. Nothing to rave about. We didn't even want to take our leftovers. It was a disappointment."

"MY WIFE BEGAN DINNING AT AMICI WHEN THE RESTAURANT OPENED. WE HAVE EATEN THERE APPROXIMATELY 10 TIMES, AND NOT HAD A BAD MEAL YET. THE OWNER VINNIE DELILLO AND HIS PARTNER JAIME MULVILHILLE HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC WITH US AND OUR FRIENDS. I HAVE NOT HEARD ONE COMPLAINT FROM OUR FRIENDS.THE FOOD MORE THAN ENOUGH AND TIMES WE TAKE SOME HOME FOR ANOTHER MEAL. ITS STILL GOOD THE SECOND TIME. MR. "We had dinner on a quiet Tuesday night about 9 pm. The service was excellent; our server was knowledgable, friendly, and attentive. Beware, the tap water most places in Orlando tastes terrible, like plastic. Go for the bottled water. Our food was fine; nothing special. The salmon was ok, and the shrimp and scallops dish was seasoned unimaginatively. The place itself was very comfortable, nice atmosphere. They have the space to accommodate a large group, and have nice booths as well. With all the choices in Orlando it wouldn't be my first choice to go back to but I would probably go back, and they do deliver to your hotel room!"

"I could not understand why this was kind of empty. We were able to sit 6 people at 7:30 on a Saturday night during spring break. Food was good and decently priced, service was quick. If you are in a jam to seat a lot of people in Disney this is a good spot. It is not the most exciting place in the world but a good back up plan."

"Not what we expected from the reviews. Restaurant was almost empty during spring break. Should've been our first sign. Menu looked appealing, but with a large selection and no diners ... Is the meat fresh? Waitress up sold us on a bottle of wine. The one we chose was notin stock, but she forgot to mention the $20 price increase. My husband noted it when the bill came, but they wouldn't budge, she blamed the mgr. Waitress never came back to table after we complained. Portions were large. Food was ok"

"It started out good. Typical Florida strip mall restaurant with nice basic italian menu. Server nice came and took our drink order and entree order and from there it went downhill. I ordered a starter salad which never came until we asked - 45 minutes after ordering. Husband got Veal Saltimboco - which is supposed to have proscuitto - and was missing it! It's the main part of the dish for goodness sake. My meal (Grouper Francaise) was delicious). Our waitress never came by to see if anything was good/bad - poor, poor service - with all the restaurants you can choose from in Orlando, don't choose this one!"

"I went to Amici's for dinner on a Saturday night. My family and had traveled from Virginia to Orlando and we were tired and of course, hungry. The wait to be seated at several other restaurants was over an hour. I searched open table to see who had immediate open seats and Amici's came up and it was close to where we were. We got there, there was ample parking, walked in and were seated immediately. The service, food, ambiance, and portion sizes were all fantastic. We drove a popular chain Italian restaurant and I'm glad we did. Open table saved the day for me when I was in a crunch."

"We made reservations online site unseen from Canada based upon the extensive menu choices. Thank goodness the food was very good after a long wait. The waitress was busy with a large party in another area. The bread could have been more authentic italian and the ambiance left much to be desired. All in all we would not return to the restaurant next time in Orlando."

"I chose Amici based on it's online menu, pictures on their website, and reviews. I was immediately unimpressed with the length of time to be helped by the hostess. I also noticed that my changed reservation online from earlier in the day was not reflected on their paper reservation list, albeit 15 minutes. I was told our wait could be long due to Valentine's Day which I felt was wrong having a reservation booked far in advance. I sat at the bar with my date amidst poor décor and a one man band singing/playing loud Jimmy Buffet style music in an Italian restaurant. Bar service was slow. We were eventually seated and served mediocre/bland food. We couldn't wait to leave and I won't be back anytime soon."
