"The food here wasn't so great. I'm not sure why the great reviews. The risotto was chalky and crunchy like the rice wasn't cooked completely. The portions were small, and a little overpriced. You can go elsewhere and get great food for less."

"Our least favorite meal overall. The spinach salad was not good at all .
The raviolini was very good as was the baked cod.
A ribeye was a dinner special. The sides were excellent but they ruined this large steak by overlooking it and seating the outside too long and hard, pushing all tenderness out. However they tried very hard to make it right and seemed to cared"

"My friend and I got a last minute reservation here know a Friday night which was fantastic and seeing there were majority 4 stars we thought it would be great. Got to the restaurant and were seated right away... our waiter came over to ask what type of water we'd like and then we didn't see him for 15 minutes... finally had to flag down someone else so we could place our order. It wasn't so busy where this should have been the case but oh well. The poor service continued throughout the meal but the food was delicious... caprese salad shared and I got the halibut... yum! My friend got the gnocchi with lobster-- double yum!! So rich and decadent!
Would I go back? Yes... but be prepared for 1 star service."

"We booked Fiamma because we were going to see the Rolling Stones in the MGM Grand and this restaurant was nice and close. We could relax while waiting for showtime.
They got everyone in the mood for the show by playing Stones tunes, which everyone seemed to appreciate. It was very busy and our waiter had several large parties to contend with, but he still managed to give us excellent service. A manager stopped by to ask how our evening and experience was...that was a nice touch.
We really enjoyed ourselved and the food was great. They had wine for all budgets (which is rare in Vegas)."

"The food is excellent. I always enjoy the short rib ravioli. This visit we also had the pasta trio, which was delicious. We started with beef carpacio, and really enjoyed the way they prepared it. We enjoyed an excellent wine at a reasonable rate."

"Made reservations at Fiamma for a birthday celebration before seeing a show at MGM Grand. The hostess was rude and seated 4 other parties before us even though we were on time for our reservation. Server was rude as were all the staff. Food portions were small for the amount you paid. The quality of the food was okay and for the price it wasn't worth m ordering. I wouldn't dine here again even if someone gave me a free dining pass."

"The wait for our confirmed reservation was 20 minutes. The hostess let two people with 6:45 reservations that arrived after we did have a table before us. Out reservation was for 5:30! Then we had to ask the manager to order out drinks after 10 minutes without anyone coming to our table. Food was okay, and heavy on the garlic. I will not return there again."

"I've noticed other reviews where they say the service was not as good as the food. But our server did a great job, and even got the kitchen to prepare something for my wife that wasn't on the menu. As for the food: the pesto is absolutely amazing. There's something about the basil they use that is extraordinary. And the pasta, made fresh in-house daily, was awesome. The gnocchi with lobster was a little disappointing. It was good, but personally, I wouldn't order it again. Very little lobster and the flavor of the sauce didn't appeal to me much. This was our second time at Fiamma and we will definitely be going back."

"Everything else turned out well until my husband complained the special the server recommended was too spicy. It was a seafood penne with some spicy marinara. It was too spicy for him, but it was not mentioned when ordered that this might be spicy. We all slow down on our entrees to wait for his to be remake. It was the only downside to our dinner. "My husband and I decided to go to Fiamma for our one year wedding anniversary. It was romantic and the service was great. Our waiter, Chris, knew the menu well and gave us some good suggestions. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and, no joke, it was the best calamari we've ever had. It came with fried zucchini and peperoncinis with marinara and some sort of aioli for dipping (forget the marinara, the aioli was amazing). If you want to eat at a fancy restaurant on the strip but don't want to break your wallet, I highly recommend Fiamma. Oh, and at the end of our meal we were treated to complimentary dessert wine and espresso for our anniversary...very nice touch!!"

"If you like good food, good service, a nice setting and a good bar, this is a good restaurant choice for you. We had 5:30 pm reservations (they open at 5:30 pm for dinner) allowing us to make the 7 pm performance of KA at the MGM. The restaurant is a short walk from the theater and they accommodated our needs very well. We liked it so much we went back to Fiamma for dessert after the performance."

"Fiamma offered great food and drinks in a really nice atmosphere. They are moderately priced for Vegas, so they won't break the bank, but will still give you a quality dining experience. I held a customer dinner at Fiamma this week, and everyone in my party was extremely pleased with their food (Lasagna is great) and also with the service we received."

"Our waiter was horrible. I was looking forward to a wonderful experience for my family as my wife and I were at the MGM for the ACM's and our children spent the day at Circus Circus. We all met at Fiamma's for dinner and to have a special evening, which we did. We have eaten here before and had a great experience, so I think we just got a bad waiter. I don't think he said 2 words to us in kind. He seemed irritated if we took more than 5 seconds to order and he It was a shame because everything else was great! First of all, the Hostesses were wonderful, sweet & kind. We were very thankful to have our table ready & our reservation was honored. Thank you Open Table. The food was great and the additional servers were excellent."

"The food (what there was of it) was delicious, but I couldn't believe the tiny portions. It was very expensive, which I knew ahead of time & was ok with for a nice restaurant on the strip, but the size of the entrees was absolutely ridiculous. It was a waste of a lot of money & I would not go again."

"I do think I ever experienced a meal such as our party of four experienced. We had the WORST service I have ever encountered. The food was great. For the cost of the meal you would figure the service would be perfect. I was very disappointed and very embarrassed for the MGM/Fiamma family of hotels/restaurants"
