"Everything was perfect. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitperson, Michelle did a wonderful job and the food was excellent and perfectly cooked. All of the staff are very professional making the diners comfortable and glad they came to Chardonnays."

"The food was great and the service was very good. The food is really good and the menu is quite unique but it is always noisy. This restaurant has an exceptionally large bar area for its size and is popular for happy hour. We' often go there for the appetizer deals. The prices are a tad high for a regular night out with family but for a special occasion it is well worth it. The high quality menu seems at odds with the vibrant bar scene which seems a to cater to middle aged singles and on weekends it always seems to be a popular spot for girls night out gatherings. I'd bet they make more profit from bar related sales than the dining but the volume and noise level does slightly effect the dining experience."

"I had not been to this location in about a year.It appears their menu has changed a bit and the dinner I was looking forward to was no longer there (lobster ravioli).We were placed at a table in the back and could not see past one of the posts dividing the dining room.This made it hard to flag down our waitress if needed.It took a long time for our order to be taken and for the food to come out.I was hoping for bread to start with but none was served. Later I did see other tables with bread but by that point we were finishing dinner. Due to where we were sitting (behind the post) and just talking we didn't realize we were the last diners in there.I felt VERY embarrassed when leaving.Dinner was okay but not.No alcohol & still $165 w/tip."

"I have never been disappointed with the food or service at chardonnays. I am sometimes concerned about going on a night when itiis very busy, becuse if sitting in the middle of the room the noise level can make conversation difficult . fotunately that has not hppened recently."

"It was a girls night out and we had heard such wonderful things about Chardonnay's that we tried it out. The food was outstanding the service was just awful.
The nachos are huge and truly delicious.. The PORK MEDALLIONS GRATINÉE was excellent it was tender just perfect right down to the side of mixed veggies. LOBSTER CARDINALE was out of this world with big pieces of lobster, scallops and shrimp!
Like to say the server was having a bad night which was hard as she could never be found & when we were able to flag her down she had an attitude, right down to the eye roll. Thankfully it was great food and great company. We do plan on going back.. You should check it out."

"Our meal was fantastic. We were even served a complimentary bottle of champagne to help celebrate the anniversary that we were there for.
Ally was our waitress and she was excellent. We find all the staff there very personable. They remember us by name when we go and that make a big impression. That they celebrated the anniversary with us, really made the evening very special.

"Was our anniversary , had a wonderful meal. My husband said it was the best meal he has ever eaten at a resturant and that says a lot! "Amazing as always! The Portuguese littlenecks appetizer is delicious, crostini bread baked right into the dish. My husband had the pork medallions which were tender and juicy with a fantastic sauce. I had the steak, shrimp, scallop kabobs with an onion horseradish sauce for the steak. The best part of the meal was the seafood risotto with shrimp and lobster! I've been to Chardonnays at least 10-15 times over the past year with both large groups and just the two of us and it is always great! Lots of long term staff suggests the owners treat them well which is important to me. Oh, the Stoli Doli is awesome too!!"

"Aside from the fact that some random radio station was playing softly over the speakers, I'd give this place a 10/10 for a romantic dinner. An appetizer, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine came to about $130, but the food was exceptional. The atmosphere was very romantic with the low lighting and rustic colors. This is probably one of the top romantic places I've been to with my wife. If you can afford it, I would try it out."

"Everything was fantastic. I will return. I have been there 2x and both times the food was fantastic. My only regret is that when you go to a restaurant where the food is fantastic the chef along with his kitchen crew do not get to hear these reviews from the actual customer. I could see your restaurant on special occasions maybe seeking out some of the tables who are having the specials of the evening. There is nothing better than the person who ate the food talking directly to the chef. Just good positive feedback!"

"The ambience is nice, dimly lit and cozy. However, for the price of the food and the reputation, this is the second time I've been there over the last several months and the seafood pasta dish I got was bad. Shrimp was dry and overcooked, not much seafood on the dish, very dissapointing. Sorry."

"This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. The bar scene is loud and vibrant. The food was good and beautifully presented. The food is definitely on the expensive side but the atmosphere is loud. I can't fully recommend this place since I asked what the mixed veggies were and the only one I can't digest, peppers, was not recited.On the other hand, it was a busy end to Rhode Island's restaurant week."

"I've been going to Chardonnays for years and the food is consistently wonderful. I've tried a number of things on the menu and have never been disappointed. This week I went for restaurant week and thought the restaurant week menu had a good variety- loved that they had my favorite martini as an option for the 3rd course!"
