Baci (Kiss in Italian) is an exquisite Italian, Steak and Seafood jewel nestled in the heart of Historic Main Street Pleasanton. If it is catering, dining, take out or delivery, our team of dedicated professionals are eager to serve you. We accept reservations of parties of five or more through Open Table and parties of four are less are welcome walk-ins. "Not going to come back. Overpriced. Decent soup, but main course not good. Tried something different this time, Lobster Ravioli, with hopes of it being better. It was tasteless and bland. I ate the shrimp off of it and left the ravioli. Not very observant wait staff. Another person at my table did the same as me and our waiter made no comment. I'm not typically the type to point it out, I just won't be back. Dessert was good. If I was just going for soup/dessert, not bad. Really good live music. Was quite impressed by the lead singer. But unfortunately, the food just wasn't up to par."

"We were attending a concert around the corner from Baci, but didn't tell the wait staff that. Nonetheless, the service was very prompt and thoughtful. The food as usual was great. Will defnintely go back there any time when we're in Pleasanton at dinner time. The restaurant is much better than the other local Italian eateries."

"We went on a week night and it was not crowded at all. Our server was very attentive and helpful when we asked for suggestions on the menu. I ordered a glass of wine and he made an alternate suggestion to pair with my lamb dish and it went perfectly. The food itself was only ok. My squash soup was good, though served very hot. My lamb was cooked perfectly, but the risotto was pretty tasteless. Dessert was excellent. Definitely better than most restaurants in downtown Pleasanton. When I return, I will visit again and try another dish."

"Had a wonderful meal with friends at Baci the other night. We ate outside but were warmed by the outdoor heaters. My friend had the lobster ravioli (delish!) and I had the beef medalians- also lovely. The service was just right, not rushed at all...very enjoyable!"

"Baci is a fine choice when you're looking for a well-prepared meal in an attractive, small restaurant. It was too noisy, however. The acoustics seem to amplify lively conversation. We enjoyed our salads--the blue wedge and spinach were both tasty. The stuffed chicken will definitely get ordered again! The wine prices seem reasonable, and my husband said they made a good "Stoli Gibson"--his test of bar service. It was very busy, so we sometimes had to wait for our server (who was otherwise very pleasant and efficient), but we'll surely dine there again."

"We celebrated a birthday with 4 guests and one infant. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and there was no problem accomodating a child. The service was very good and friendly. Their 3-course special was reasonably priced and had good selections available."

"The food was very good but our waiter was not. Maybe they were shorthanded I'm not sure. It is very disappointing to bring friends to a restaurant and receive lousy service. I cant allow myself to get mad and ruin the entire evening and I still tipped 15% but I really wanted to tip 10%. The best service we got is when it was time to pay the bill. One person brought the bill....another returned it after we payed and yet another picked it up at the end. That really frustrated me. I will definitely give the other restaurants a try before returning to Baci."
