"Awesome happy hour at the bar. Drinks were great and the happy hour appetizers surpassed my expections. At dinner, the steaks cooked to perfection and the sides were ten times better than at Ruths Chris steakhouse. Will go next time when in atlantic city."

"I ordered a ribeye and my wife ordered the fillet. Both of us felt there was no flavor to the steak. I don't even think they seasoned it with salt or pepper. The fillet looked like a good cut of meat but still it was flavorless. The ribeye was very fatty. I know ribeye steak are not the leanest cut of meat but half or better of the steak was fat. Also the meat itself was not very tender. Everything is ala Carr. We also got the sautéed mushrooms and augratin potatos. The cheese on top of the potatos were burnt not brown but black. The mushrooms were just ok.
I have had much better steaks at the outback or Texas Roadhouse for a fraction of the price. If your in AC I would recommend the old homestead in the borgata or Roberts in the Taj Mahal."

"My waiter Anthony was very knowledgable of the food and made some good recommendations. I had calamari for my app. And my husband had the portabella. My calamari was a little too sweet and there were entirely too many pickled onions on the calamari it made the dish soggy. My husband enjoyed his portabella and added my onions to his dish and loved it. My entree was veal chop Milanese and my husband had a 75.00 bone in ribeye. The veal was tender but very thin for a 45.00 chop and the breading was wanting for salt. The ribeye was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor and I probably would have finished it with some butter. Over all I think I could have had a comparable meal at longhorn steakhouse and not spent 278.00 I may have enjoyed it more."

"With the exception of the music, which in our opinion was way too loud, we had a fantastic experience. "The dining experience is alway rich and luxurious ! In an unusual twist, the cooking temp of the steaks were incorrect, one guest overlooked & mine undercooked. We actually switchednasnthe dishes were exactly the same. ( lucky waiter ) Food is outstanding and the feeling is that you could be dining in any great city in the country'! Service was a bit provincial but friendly. We recommend it often and can't wait for the next time to dine at Vic's !"

"At first glance the menus seems a bit pricey but, if you order appropriately the price is typical of a night out. The decor is a bit fancy for a typical steak house but I guess that's the ambiance they were going for. I was slightly disappointed with the opinions of wine but it was well made up for with the unbelievable service. The waitstaff was extremely helpful, pleasant and relateable. I my husband and I orders two 8oz set lions which were cooked to perfection and two sides. The broccoli was cooked to perfection and enough to feed 3 adults. Overall it was a nice experience and I would definitely recommend."

"My wife and I had an outstanding meal which consisted of "prime" soup by far the best beef soup I have had ever. Oysters Rockefeller sweet and very fresh half dozen only a tease. Main course we each had a rib eye with different toppers. My wife had the brie and blue cheese and I had the bone marrow bordelaise both absolutely amazing. We did not have desert as neither one of us had room. Pricey but worth every penny. Can't wait to return."

"The steak was absolutely amazing! It was for my boyfriend's birthday. We had the 12 oz. Filet Mignon. It was to die for. The plush chairs and beautiful ambiance is an extra plus. A wonderful waitstaff really put our experience over the top. They do special deserts that is on them for the birthday person. I would drive straight to Atlantic City to eat here again."

"Busboy/water kept getting in the way of our waiter. Our waiter didnt say anything but he looked like he was getting annoyed. We sat at a 2 person table which was fine but everytime my boyrfriend got up he would hit the table. Because of the carpet I think the chair does not slide well. As we were getting up to leave the water spilled and fell. Thank goodness it was just water and none got on the guests next to us. We were sitting close to them. I ordered a filet med-well and it was cooked well. No pick at all. I didnt sent it back, it was ok but would have been better if it had come out to my liking"

"We attended during AC Restaurant Week and found Vic & Anthony's menu selection to our liking. Service was very good as was the food. I found the ambiance of the room mediocre and a little on the loud side. Also, the price of cocktails was a shocker when the bill arrived."

"This may have been the worst fine dining experience I have ever encountered. Our table wasn't ready upon arrival, at 7pm. We finally were seated at 7:30 after reminding our hostess that we were still waiting. our waiter came over and put the menus in front of us, without saying hello and walked away. He came back 5 minutes later and told us his name. I then asked him for a wine list which he brought over and said if we had any questions, it was his "baby." He also said he would bring over some water and bread. These didn't come until our entrees were finished, and after asking for it five times. Right after dessert we were asked If we could leave because they needed our table."

"The food was excellent, the only problem I had was the loud noise in the restaurant. The music was not conducive for dining and the entire restaurant was extremely noisy. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who would enjoy a quiet night out, but the food and service were outstanding."

"This was a return visit for me. It was during restaurant week so I didn't expect to receive the same level of service and food quality that I did last time. I was wrong. John, our waiter, and Anthony, the general manager, made this a wonderful experience. The steak is the best in town and that's saying a lot with the level of competition that exists in ac. Caesar salad-great, wine-many choices and affordable, cheesecake-great and more than enough for one. Can't wait to go back!!!"

"Visited during Restaurant Week and had an exceptional dinner. Service was outstanding...waiter did his best to upsell off the fixed menu. One of the best caeser salads I have ever had and the main course of the filet was wonderful. Would definately recommend...the main menu is very pricey, but seems to be worth the cost."
