"Visited Vintage for our anniversary. Marinated rib eye was out of this world. Service was flawless. We also liked the new look inside. Great place for special occasions or if your looking for a quality upscale restaurant."

"I used to love the cowboy decor here as did all my friends. Now it's been redone to be too trendy. It's lost it's charm in that sense. I'd love to see the old "look" come back. Food was still very good, and staff was very pleasant, but it's lost the charm it once had."

"We visited Vintage Prime as first-timers for a special birthday dinner. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation, received outstanding service from Bobby and other staff members, and the food was outstanding. Our party of four ordered different appetizers, salads, and entrees, and every dish was wonderful. The wine list includes some good wines at moderate prices, and even the desserts were outstanding. The prices are similar to other high-end Long Island Steakhouses (Insignia, Paces, Prime, etc) but I found the quality of the food and service and the overall experience far superior at Vintage Prime."

"My wife and I enjoy dinner at Vintage Steakhouse during Long Island Restaurant Week because we enjoy the food, which is out of our price range at the restaurant's usual prices. The selection for restaurant week is limited, but varied enough to create some difficult choices. The portions are large enough to satisfy. The food is delicious and the service professional."

"For the most part, the food was excellent. We had porterhouse for two with mushrooms and broccoli rabe. Broccoli rabe is one of our favorite veggies, but in this case I found it lacking. It should have been more bitter, and also when it was served it was not very warm. In general though the meal was very good, but the pricing was a little out of line..This has been our 3rd time to V. I was not told when I made my res. that rest.week menu ended at6PM. I should have been told. Then an hour later, a couple at next table were told it ended at 7PM. ???? I am disappointed, and will probably not return."

"Went on restaurant week. Crab cake with lobster sauce very good(extra). Filet mignon tips(extra) very good. Caesar salad not very good. Sirloin steak very fatty and chewy. Cheese cake good ,apple tart ok. Restaurant back room very dark. Have been there other times with better results. Service was very slow. There are many steak restaurants in area. Should do a better job if they are looking for new customers."

"This place came well recommended by many people.The hostess very friendly and cordial, the waiter was great. The good was outstanding. My complaints are everyone was ontop of each other. Very crammed.. The wait for an appetizer for35min. The wait for the actual meal was 55min. That is entirely too long.. I would recommend this place but would adviceNot to go when you are extremely hungry."

"The food and the service were both fantastic. Unfortunately our table was srt in the middle of a 'funnel' where everyone had to pass by. The people passing by was disturbing. We also had the misfortune of a couple who noticed friends at the table next to us and engaged them in loud conversation, while standing next to our table. I felt management should have taken a step to control this."

"My beer came to me warm, my seared tuna was very good, my wifes and my filet was tough but my lobster tail was great. I had to ask for my following two drinks as did my wife for hers because our server would just look at us as he went by to do what I dont know since there were only three other parties in the place. Not happy, not going back."

"Everything was exquisite from the walk in (I love the new decor) to dessert (chocolate cake was fabulous)! For appetizers we had the pear salad, which was unbelievable. The raw oysters were really fresh and delicious too. For an entree we shared the porterhouse for two medium, which was tender and extremely flavorful (one of the best cuts we have ever had). For sides we had sautéed spinach, as well as indulging on Parmesan truffle fries and baked stuffed potato (it was worth it)! Overall, amazing dining experience with top notch service (timely and attentive), we will definitely be back real soon!"

"Normally this restaurant can be expected for excellence. We hit them on an off night. The music was very loud, we couldn't hear each other speak. There were several vases of wilting flowers in the dining room. The flower aroma did not mix well with the food aroma. I had the twin lobster tails, they were not very fresh."

"i have dined at Vintage several times and have been pleased with the service and food. Our latest experience was disappointing. You can't be considered a high-end restaurant when you haven't trained your servers to be representative of this desired status. Removing plates when everyone at the table has not finished their course is unacceptable. Presenting the check while serving dessert is also unacceptable. The restaurant was 1/3 full - it was not as if someone was waiting for our table. Training your staff to know these basic rules of serving in a restaurant is not that difficult - I will not rush back...."

"Me & my boyfriend tried out vintage for his 25th birthday. The food was amazing and fairly priced. The music was just right. They had a notable selection of different cocktails and liquors as well. I had the wild striped bass which was absolutely awesome! ! Highly recommend this restaurant to others!"

"The vintage Steak House as usual produces the best Steak cooked exactly as we liked. My NY strip was delicious and good size. My wife had the special; Filet Mignon which was 3 four oz filets 1 au poivre, 1 oscar, and the third with a bernaise sauce, she thought the au poivre and the one with the bernaise sauce were excellent, however the oscar which had crabmeat on top was just ok an not as good as the other two. the portions seemed a little small. Our friends had the 10 oz filet mignon and the Cowboy steak and they both thought is was the best steak that they had eaten in any restaurant they had been to. The table had 4 drinks, 1 appetiser, and 3 sides. We did not have any dessert or coffee, the bill was approx.$330 for 4 of us with tip."

"The food was excellent!!! The atmosphere was horrible, we couldnt hear each other at the table because it was extremely noisy as it always is when we are there...we go back because the food n the portions are incredible...we always see the same hostess who is always nasty and can not believe that she is there to greet the customers, in fact this time i finally said something to the matre' d and honestly he didnt seem to care. Being that we live in the area why found this horrible and was quite embarrassing since we had clients of ours with us. like i said the food was amazing but we will no longer come back because of this January 19th was the night when we were there when we had a situation with the hostess n matre'd.."

"We found the lighting poor in the back room. I used my phone flashlight to read the menu. We started with clams casino which was delicious. The porterhouse steak for two was enjoyable and cooked to our preference. The sweet potato side dish very delicious. The food in general is very good. Unfortunately we had a very loud, selfish group that thought they were in a ball park, seated behind us that made too much noise for our experience. Another issue that made our dining uncomfortable was the wait staff rushed our food. When a meal costs $90-120.00 per person,I feel each course should be given ample time. The minute you finished your appetizer, your steak was ready to be served."
