Longhi's has been family owned and operated in Hawaii since 1976. Our three locations offer fantastic breakfast,lunch and dinner featuring the freshest seafood and island fish, prime steaks, locally grown produce and the finest imported cheeses and ingredients. Our award winning in-house bakery prepares a wide range of freshly baked breads, pastries and delectable desserts. "Service had been on a downward slope over the past few months, even though the food was always incredibly delicious. However, our waiter on my most recent visit, Adrian, was spectacular! He was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made excellent recommendations throughout the meal and ensured that we received each course in a timely manner. I always enjoy eating at Longhi's for the delicious food, but I'll be requesting Adrian as my waiter for future visits."

"We chose Longhi's for its lobster special. We arrived at 5 pm for an early dinner to find they were out of lobster. The restaurant's Mother's Day policy is to require a charge card to hold a reservation and to charge a penalty for cancelling within 48 hours. I suppose we could have demanded that charge be waived because they couldn't deliver on the menu, but where to go at that hour on Mother's Day without a reservation? We settled on food choices for which we would not have come. The space is casual and noisy. The ocean view across the park does not compensate for the lack of air conditioning and the high-priced ala cart menu. If we ever decide to go again, we will call first to confirm they will be able to serve their lobster specialty."

"Just remember a terrific place has it together. Saturday night was hopping, but the servers, and kitchen got it right. Try the shrimp and scallops in a butter-lemon sauce. Simple-yes, but hard to do properly, these guys have it down. A very good wine list enhanced the evening."

"We went at prime breakfast time I guess, bc it was pretty packed. The food took a while to come out and service was spotty. The end of our meal felt pretty rushed, but we were pretty happy to be on our merry way out of there. Usually, I like to chill at Longhi's bc it's such a nice view... But there was just too many people."

"Have been here a few times. This time our waiter was quite unattentive to us and we have definitely had better service. Was disappointed since we took guests as a birthday treat. I noted that on the reservation but this was not acknowledged at all. We were given the table I had requested, so that was a plus. Again, the service was a disappointment at this visit."

"Longhi's is back. They were riding on their early reputation and slipped in Lahaina and have become a "tourist" restaurant and not catering to a return crowd. This restuarant in Ala Moana is back to being a restaurant that features outstanding food, fresh fish, great preparations and caters to a returning crowd rather than a "one" shot tourist trade. Highly recommended."

"Upon arrival, there was no one at the hostess stand to greet us. Someone standing by the bar walked past to the kitchen, About five minutes later the hostess came out of the kitchen and greeted us. Happy to know that they had my reservation and remembered my note that I attached to the reservation. Great idea!"

"Service was slow. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our breakfast to come out. When it did, my partner's dish was cold. We asked our server to have it reheated. The server took the plate but when it was returned, it was still the same temperature - causing us to question what exactly he did. We will not return. Not recommended at all.[Breakfast on 3/10/13]"

"Maui location is much better than this one. Service was slow, food took a long time to come out and taste and quality of food was dissapointing at this Honolulu location. After over a 20 minute wait our pizza bread never arrived, We were told the kitchen ran out and it took some pleading and begging the waitress to get us some garlic bread instead. Amaretto prawns were just ok, sauce too sweet. Waimanalo greens salad is yummy and probably the best thing I ate, however, its only a side dish. Husband liked his crab cakes and fish, but we both agree Longhi' s Maui location has way better food and atmosphere. I would not return to this location."

"My family has enjoyed dining at Longhi's since I was a little girl. We always love the food, but we were disappointed by the service. Our waitress, Megan, was not very attentive to our table. She would disappear for long periods of time and at the end, another server had to alert her that we kept looking around the restaurant to try to locate her. Service just hasn't been the same since Greg left. :( (Although I was there for brunch the other morning and our server was great, even with a big group.)
That being said, our food was spectacular! We loved every single dish. We are never disappointed with the delicious flavors or the freshness of the ingredients."

"We arrived a bit early and were seated promptly. Appetizer and main courses were prepared perfectly to order. Our waiter was into the French Bourdeaux wine we had brought but as it was not satisfactory (even though we drank it) we opted for another bottle of an Oregon Pinot from the wine list that was better. As our waiter had not tasted that particular Pinot we offered a taste and we discussed its merits. As we did not inquire in advance if there was a corkage charge or not we were happy when none appeared on the bill. Altogether a nice dining experience."

"Longhi's is a local favorite. It's located on the upper level of Ala Moana mall, and has convenient parking. The elevator takes you up to the top floor, and with it comes spectacular view of the ocean. Open air dining, and a great menu. Lunch is a favorite of mine - I take clients there and they love it. The birds can be pesky, but that comes with al fresco dining in Honolulu! The lobster salad is amazing, as is the fresh fish. Don't forget to try a plantation iced tea!"
