London Grill is located in the historic Fairmount section of Philadelphia, close to the Philadelphia Art Museum and easily accessible from the Schuylkill Expressway with abundant parking available. This award winning restaurant boasts a Victorian bar and several intimate dining rooms and 2 banquet rooms. "Caeser salad was seasoned in kitchen, had so much pepper was inedible. This was after the first one was sent back. Roasted beat salad tasted like it was from a can. Not even close to being carmelized. Gnocchi was great, but so salty couldn't eat it."

"As always good consistent food. The Thai shrimp appetizer had a nice bite to it and was tasty. Ricotta Gnocchi was very good. Perfectly cooked and good combination of flavors. It could have been a bit warmer when served. A steak was perfecly cooked and the portion was large. A great place for a snowy night in Fairmount, if you live in the neighborhood."

"London Grill is a bar/restaurant with an existential crisis. It wants to be a neighborhood bar. It wants to be a destination restaurant. A nice restaurant can and should have a vibrant bar scene, but the two should have resonance (and certainly interaction). Not so at London Grill. You enter from 23rd street and turn left to go down stairs into a bar that feels like your standard neighborhood bar. Or you turn right for what they portray and price as an upscale restaurant. You can't help but wonder why they don't just split them into two separate establishments with separate entrances (even if they do continue to share a kitchen). I don't want to spend $28 on a steak at a pub and I don't want foie gras while I watch a game with a Yuengling."

"Food was good, service was slow, not very attentive. For the Bloody Mary bar, there were no full sized glasse, were not replenished. After waitress noticed this, nothing was done to compensate our party for this."

"Very disappointed. The menu was extremely limited; quality of the food passable however, I salad (spin with duck) was very good. The ratio of price to quality and service was very poor; will not return to London unless it was just a drink at the bar."

"Love Love Loved the lemon ricotta pancakes!!! We had a great time at the London Grill. The food was delicious and the bloody mary and mimosa bar a nice added touch. We were alittle caught off guard expecting to have a buffet style brunch, but once our entrees arrived all was forgotten. We would definitely go back time and time again whenever in the city."

"Service was a little slow, but waitress was quite friendly and attentive when present. Food was good, but burger was a little messy because the english muffin that acted as the bun was smaller than the burger. My husband said the chicken in his sandwich was a little overcooked. I had seen a listing for $22.22 for a brunch buffet on several internet sites, but this did not exist."

"This is a good neighorhood spot. Always welcoming. Good reliable food. Glad to see the menu return to a good mix of reasonably priced entrees. For awhile the menu was too informal. The soups are always top notch. There is a great bar menu which you can order from in the dining room, thereby offering choices for all tastes and desires. Wines seem to be better priced now than they had been. We have been going for years. Several years ago the prices went up just too much to make it a reasonable neighborhood spot. That seems to now have changed a bit. Steak and the duck were perfectly cooked. The dining room atrium portion is very pleasant. Service was pleasant. Good pace."

"We have had their bar food before and it was fantastic. The dining room food, however, was bland and lacked quality. If you are going to be creative, make sure you can follow it up with taste. Also, 14.00 for French Onion soup with a small crouton and a thin film of cheese is absolutely ridiculous. I'll come back for the bar food but never to the dining room."

"Risotto appetizer was undercooked and octupus appetizer lukewarm. We were tired and hungry so didn't send them back but likely wouldn't order either again (and it was later and not crowded so no excuse for undercooked and lukewarm food). The waitress was terrific and service great."

"We had a large party and were placed in a separate area. There were many items on the menu that were unavailable - way too many which led to overall disappointment. The staff were great, very warm and welcoming. Whole place a little shabby, but would go back if we could be sure the whole menu was available!"

"Most of the party ate from the pub menu - the London Burger, and they all thought it was terrific. I had the duck breast and it was pretty tasty. We also tried the charcuterie & cheese starter - delicious. We were there on a Wednesday night, so it wasn't overly crowded, so not too noisy."
