"The Nutella bread pudding was amazing and I was very impressed that the little note I wrote on my reservation on open table about it being my dads 70th birthday and asking for them to bring the nutella bread updding was not forgotten. I never had to even mention it or order my dessert. They did it automatically and even wished him a happy birthday and said his name. It was really nice."

"We had the opportunity to visit Del Frisco's Grille on Mother's Day while enjoying a few days in New York. A friend had told me about the restaurant prior to travelling to NYC and his recommendation did not disappoint. The food was fantastic and the service outstanding. Our group of six all had variations of steak and each was cooked to perfection. We ordered a selection of sides which were delicious but the surprise, at least for me, was the Mac n Cheese - outstanding! Two nights earlier we had dined at another notable eatery and left disappointed; this visit to Del Frisco's redeemed our faith in the great restaurants of NYC."

"Crabcake appetizer was truly great a must try. The best I have had in a long time.
The beef eggroll very good on texture, however the taste I found a little bland.
The pineapple infused vodka martinis a very nice semi-tart/not to sweet mixed drink which is a rare find at most places.
Filet mignon steak was very good and the a kitchen who served it and held a spotlight so I could check if it was done to my likiing a very nice touch.
Ambience wise I made a mistake ignoring the "grille" part of the name so I found it a somewhat loud for comfortable dinner conversation however the generously spaced tables and buzz of the place made up for it."

"I meant to book our reservation at the Del Friscos's steakhouse but made it here by accident...but we were pleased with our meal. I think the menu is very similar but geared more to the Rock Center touristy crowd. We were really happy with the meal and the service."

"Enjoyed a tasty 16 oz. porterhouse steak, potato and glass of wine. Asked not to use too much salt on the steak as suggested in another review. Although I was single they gave me a great table for 4 out on the patio at 8 pm on a beautiful night. It's adjacent to Rockefeller Center which is nicely lighted, and you're surrounded by impressive tall buildings. Very friendly reception and table service. Noisy inside but quiet on the patio so take your pick."

"My friends and I dined outside for lunch. This has been my third time at Del Friscos Grille and each time I have gone the food has been delicious. The service was very good, our waitress was very nice and attentive. The crab cake, steak rolls and double burger are all amazing! Dining outside gives you a great view of Rockefeller Center as well."

"This was definitely the worst dining experience we have had in a long time, if ever. The noise level from the occupants, as well as the obnoxious music, was DEAFENING and there was no retreat from it for the two miserable hours that we were there. We will never consider going to this restaurant again. We had planned to try the other one as well, but were told that it could be worse because of the two levels. If one is more interested in drinking and SCREAMING to their dining companions, then and only then, this would be the place to go. I repeat, it was the worst "dining" experience ever!"

"I made the reservation thinking it was the main location only to find out it wasn't. They sent me over to this one. I would have rather dined at the main location. I was surprised they didn't even try to fit us in. We were only 2. Anyway, the food was good but the menu was half what the main location is. I guess I wasn't mentally into this place because I wanted to be at the main location."

"DISAPPOINTMENT! We are big fans of Del Frisco's, the restaurant. I LOVE the crabcakes there and my husband, of course their steaks. I want to badly to like del Frisco's Grille, because it is convenient and the vibe there is so much more relaxed. My husband had the steak- butterflied, I forgot what oz- small. It was so SUPER SALTY that he was scraping off the spices on top. It's a steak place- they shouldn't be messing up the ONE thing that they are known for.
A manager came over to ask about our meal and I told him about the steak- his only reply was, "Oh, I wish I came by earlier," and left. It sounds like it's only me complaining (the husband is not one to cause a stir) but he was in agreement about the steak's saltiness."

"Del Frisco's was an expensive disappointment. It was my husband's birthday and he craved a great steak. This whole experience felt like a tourist trap. Our waiter didn't pay attention to me about dietary concerns, though he was a little too exuberant in pushing the most expensive steak topped with crab cake on us. All the appetizers and soup came out barely lukewarm and had to be returned. My dining companions' steaks were not cooked to order (my brother wanted really rare, my husband wanted medium rare - and neither were right). Worst of all, everything was covered in way too much salt, making one of the steaks completely inedible. It felt amateurish and sloppy. And at $30 - $60 for each entree, that is crazy. Won't go back."

"The food was marvellous, my husband had the speciality of the chef with the cod.
I had a double cheese patty .It was excellent.
The touch at the end was that the chef came to our table ,he wanted to know what Jim thought of his dish as it is his creation.

"It's hard enough to get a lunchtime reservation now without encouraging others but here goes. Located in Rockefeller Plaza, it is an dining oasis during a busy work day or a day trip to the City. I am a Frisco's regular and have tried virtually everything on the menu. This is no place to diet but if you've got the appetite, the burger is the best in NYC and I love the grilled cheese sandwich. Actually, they have some great salads too."
