"I never get tired of the food or service at Scott's, the food is fresh and top quality and always prepared perfectly. The service is personal without being over board, and the servers are very friendly, you can tell they like and enjoy their job. Phillip our server, was well versed in the specials and made recommendations which I always appreciate. At his suggestion I had the fresh Alaskan Halibut cooked the way I like it, medium rare, and it was incredible.
Scott's will never let you down, and even though Scott's is noted for their seafood, they also have USDA Prime Beef Selections on the menu, and since my Daughter and her husband are non fish eaters, this is the perfect spot for all of us to enjoy the best food and service together."

"For the price point of the food this experience disappointed us. The descriptive menu was quite embellished but I did not taste lavender in my Asian pear salad, which was average but not for $12. The food was just OK. The service was poor. Our server could not get our order correct, he brought out my friends salad and main at the same time, forgot my salad. My moules frite broth was average, I have had better at home. The French fries looked liked I had gotten the end pieces. They brought another salad when we had all finished our main course. Portions were on the small side, order an appetizer if you are a hearty eater."

"My friend and I had tickets at the Segerstrom Center to see Flashdance so we decided to have dinner at Scott's beforehand. We started with the shrimp cakes - excellent, followed by the beet salad, which was one of the best I've ever had,. For entrees we both had the Ahi tuna dinner. Again, it was melt in your mouth fabulous. We shared some Savignon Blanc wine, and unfortunately dessert was out since we were full and needed to get to the show.
Oh, the other great thing is that the valet parking is only $3.00 and we were able to leave the car there, walk 5 minutes to the theater, and not have to deal with the hassle of a parking garage. Perfect!"

"We went back to Scott's after a so-so pre-theater experience with a group of four. So very glad we did. The service was super, our server watched the clock so we didn't have to stress about making our curtain. Valet parking held our car until after the performance and it was so convenient. I recommend the organic chicken and the hanger steak in particular. But we enjoyed all the entrees and sides. We'll be back soon!"

"We have been driving by this restaurant for years and have always said we would try it out sometime. Since we were going to a show down the street, I thought this would be a perfect place to enjoy dinner afterwards. Add in the fact that it was our wedding anniversary and we figured this would make a perfect celebration and an excellent way to wind the evening down.
We started off with the lobster bisque and clam chowder. As my wife put it, this was one of the best lobster bisque's she has ever had. My clam chowder was a little watery but still very edible.
We then moved on to the main course. My wife had the salmon and I had the scallops. Both excellent choices. Both selections were fresh and very tasty."

"We frequently go to Scott's for dinner before attending the Performing Arts or South Coast Repertory plays. The food is Always delicious and service is Excellent. They always make sure you are served in time to make your event. This evening I had relatives in from out of state and we celebrated 3 birthdays. Our waiter provided us with complimentary deserts and candles which made our dinner even more enjoyable. The valet parking also makes it convenient to park at the Resturant then walk to the theaters. Highly recommend Scott's!"

"The food here was hit and miss. The cocktails were tasty, but the appetizers were iffy. We had two different kinds of oysters. One was delicious. The other was fishy and not good at all. That could just be diner's preference. The caesar salad was fine, but that's it. Just fine. The main dishes were really quite tasty. We had the scallops with polenta--very, very good. However, the green beans they were served with tasted bland. Really no flavor at all. The sea bass and spinach was more well-rounded and flavorful. The primary problem with this restaurant? While the wait staff was attentive enough, the wait for the food was oddly long. We probably won't eat here again."

"This was always our favorite pre-theater dining choice for OCPAC. This visit was our last. They changed the menu, eliminating the "theater specials" that were quick prep dishes, and raised their prices. We told the waiter we were going to the theater and still had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our main course. My wife's sole was inedible, so she sent it back. There wasn't enough time to prepare another dish, so she didn't eat. My sea bass was delicious - all six ounces of it, for $39!!!"

"The food was good. It seems Scott's is trying to cut corners and charge more for less. I love the raw oysters and go there for them. They are no longer on a menu for selecting and having them available as shooters. It is now a special order item. Only 1 very small oyster for $3.00 each. Didn't enjoy calimari as much as in the past. It was an ok experience for a lot of money. $6.00 for tea."

"Executive chef Michael Doctulero's reimagined menu is absolutely delectable! Every dish we tried was full of delicate flavor, lighter, and works of culinary art. Even if you've been to Scott's before, try it again for the 'first' time for it will truly be a new experience to delight the palate.

"I have dined at Scott's in Northern California and had a great experience. So when we were planning a night at the Segestrom Concert Hall I chose Scott's at which to dine that evening.
I don't believe I have ever had such a wonderful fish meal as we did Fri. night. The service was impeccable and all the staff were very friendly. We will be back again soon."

"The food and service were outstanding. However, the wine list was extremely over priced. They listed Robert Mondavi Fume Blanc, a favorite of mine,for $75 a bottle. I bought the same wine from the winery for $20 a bottle."

"This was our 1st visit to Scott's and overall, we had an outstanding experience. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about both the wine and food menus. The calamari appetizer had a fantastic lemon garlic butter sauce and was one of our favorite dishes of the night. Our mahi mahi & seared ahi dishes were cooked perfectly, and were also very flavorful. We were also surprised at the end of our meal when our waiter comped us a cheesecake beignet dessert. It was like a light donut crust with cheesecake oozing out of it when we cut into it. It was a delicious way to end the evening. We will definitely be back again!"

"Perfect location for anyone going to an event at Segerstrom Center (formerly Orange Co Performing Arts Center). After a matinee performance at Segerstrom, six of us walked over, leaving the cars next door at Segerstrom which saved us a long wait at the exit not to mention tipping the valet. Our server was knowlegdable, patient (we had alot of questions), and available. The cocktails came quickly, the wine list was good, and all of us were more than pleased with our appetizers and entrees. Of particular note was the calamari, flash fried in a pan, not breaded or deep-fried; pan-seared salmon was perfectly cooked; and everything in my ciappino was perfectly cooked, nothing was over-cooked."

"Read some reviews before I chose Scott's. Some not good. My wife and daughter ate lunch and enjoyed the our time there. Waiter was friendly and service was great. Food was good and the price for the upscale restaurant was fine. Over we enjoyed our time there. Will chose agin when in the area.

"Waitress took order never saw her again until she gave us the wrong bill. We notified her upon arrival that we were attending a play for my granddaughters birthday and we needed to be out in time..we were late paying our bill and for the play. Made the evening kind of a drag. Service all around was very unprofessional . Main courses were delicious . Hostess tried to be gracious."
