Castello Restaurant nestled on the busy Padanaram Rd. offers traditional Italian flavors to diners in the greater Danbury area. Castello offers an array of dining spaces, all of which feature neutral, pastel wall colors and tables adorned with white tablecloths. The restaurant also offers an on-site bar that is decorated in bold orange hues accented by dark wood tones. We also have available private rooms perfect for Corporate catering, family or special occasions and more. Diners can select from an assortment of fresh pasta, chicken, meat, and seafood dishes. "tableside is the name of the game at this lovely italian find in connecticut. the caesar salad is as it should be, the deboning of fish is elegant and the flaming desserts are just fun. the food is well prepared--perfectly cooked fish and veggies. wines by the glass are limited. they could not have been any nicer, and the service was impeccable."

"I recommend this terrific restaurant to anyone who is looking to enjoy a delicious dinner, with loved ones at a warm, cozy place on any night of the week. I've been here many times before, because not only is the food superb, the service is just as great. They go out of there way to make your experience a memorable one, regardless of how many times you've been there. When you go to Castello, make a point of ordering their crab cakes if they offer them as a special of the evening, you wont be disappointed! If they don't have them then get the Cesar- as fresh as it gets. You cant go wrong with whatever you order there. Just like myself, you'll leave Castello feeling satisfied with both your meal and your experience."

"Food and service were excellent and prices are pretty reasonable, except for some of their specials which seemed a bit pricey as well as the wine list which was also a bit high for this area. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience however."

"Overall, the food was very good,but the mushroom stuffed with crab meat was lacking. The oysters on- the- half- shell were some of the best I've ever had, and coming from Maryland, that says a lot. As I expected, the veal dishes, which my party had, were very good, especially the veal chop."

"I chose Castello for a special birthday dinner for my girlfriend, and it was fantastic. The servers and management were all friendly and personable, and while they were attentive, they were in no hurry and let us linger at our own pace.
We had a very nice bottle of wine and started with the tableside Caesar salad. Our entrees included Dover Sole also fileted and de-boned expertly table side, and the pasta with shrimp & cherry peppers.
Everything was delicious. I will definitely count this as a favorite!"

"What a find! Food was fantastic! We can't wait to go back. We started with the Caesar salad for two, it was amazing. My salmon was perfect and my husband had penne with arrabiata sauce, it wasn't on the menu, but they made it. He said it was fabulous."

"7:30 reservation on a Saturday night; Loved the covered parking, great atmosphere and tables that were not on top of each other. The abundant staff was the perfect mix of attentive, polite and engaging. They knew to be there when you needed them, and away when you didn't. Both the regular menu and daily specials each had many enticing dishes which makes it difficult to choose but a MUST to return. Our meals were absolutely delicious from the appetizer to dessert. Enjoyed the tableside presentations of Caesar Salad and the Sea Bass and the complimentary Limoncello with our check."

"We had always enjoyed good food, excellent service and quiet ambiance. This most recent dinner, however, was marred somewhat by a loud radio, which we had never before experienced at Castello. Not sure why this normally, quiet & classy restaurant found it necessary to have a radio blaring. We will give it another try to see if this was just a fluke. Food & service were excellent."
