Harrys of Hartsdale
A great dining experience whether in our grill room, upper tier dining room (great for large parties) or our beautiful wine room for private parties up to 21 people, Harrys is "the" place to gather family and friends for any occasion. The Grill Room is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. The Upper Tier is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday for dinner only or can be booked anytime for a private party. The wine cellar is by reservation only for parties of 12 or more.

"Service was glacially slow, especially unfortunate as my three young children were present to celebrate Mom's and Grandma's Mother's Day. Several times the wrong dish was delivered. Waitress was subpar. We couldn't wait to leave by the end. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant which is only a half-mile from my home."

"First time for lunch here and the menu is great and very reasonable. The steak sandwich is a big portion and the steak was nicely cooked. Fish and Chips looked good and the arugula salad with beets and goat cheese was nice, but a teeny bit on the wilted side. The dressing was tasty, but we had to ask for a side as our greens were barely dressed. The service was friendly and prompt - very nice waitress and attentive."

"Polite but slooooww service in a nearly empty restaurant. Tasteless food. Worst eggs I've ever had. Even the salsa on the juevos rancheros was bland. Also, how do you ruin french fries? We left almost of our food on the plate. Horrible muzak. I am not a complainer and have never written a negative review before. Avoid. Absolutely no reason to eat here with Frankie and Fanucci's great pizza and the excellent Vega right down the street."

"We hadn't been to Harry's in a few years but the last time we went it was a busy, thriving neighborhood, steakhouse. When we got there at 7:15 on a Friday night we got seated upstairs and we were one of only 3 tables dining.
My husband ordered the sirloin steak and although it was flovorful he was remembering the prior steak he had there and there was no comparison. I had the tuna (sushi grade) which was tasty and the portion size, although satisfying to me, would probably not be generous enough for bigger eaters. The service was great...the waitress was attentive but did not rush us and we had a very relaxing evening dning with friends.
The food is not memorable nor special enough so we will probably not rush back."

"Service was very attentive and the food was great. We enjoyed soup and shellfish appetizers. The mac and cheese entree portion was huge and, while the macaroni resembled the box variety, the cheese mix was superb and creamy. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) diagonally sliced and could have been fork cut it was so tender. Shoestring fries were ok - steak cuts might have worked better. We also enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of cabernet."

"Very nice modern decor. Staff was friendly but a little absent. Our waitress didnt introduce herself, and we barely saw her after she took our order. I ordered the steak and frites, cooked medium, and received a very red steak. I didnt send it back as i dont mind red meat, but it was a pretty big difference. Overall, our experience was nothing more than good."

"Has gone downhill, fish and chips was a full plate of chips and you had to hunt to find the fish -portion smaller than what kids receive at California pizza kitchen and was over cooked . Waitress was hard to find and didn't pay attention to our requests or think fish and chips amount was inappropriate. Our seating request on reservation was ignored and we were put in front of the kitchen. Had to wait for bread despite requests. only good thing was the vegetarian sandwich..Hope this place goes back to the way it was originally when it was great neighborhood choice!"

"Food is ok. The service is just awful.We were there on a Saturday and the place was not full and we had to beg for drinks, the specials, bread, etc. Won't be back."
