"Though we love the everyday food and service we get at Toscana, Mother's Day was quite special. Many families with several generations happily celebrating. We had only two of us, but the welcome was so warm, the attention immediate. The Mother's Day menu had something for all and was tenderly prepared and served. My wife was glowing for two days afterward."

"We have been to Toscana many times as a couple, in large groups and for wine tastings. They are much improved from when they opened. At first the food was decent but inconsistent. That has changed-love the thin crust pizzas, salads and desserts. Would highly recommend. The space is very beautiful and classic."

"The most horrendous service! We sat all night with empty drink and water glasses on the table. We never received share plates after asking and ate our appetizers out of the serving bowl! The tables are set up with one side looking at the wall which I absolutely hate. The space is so narrow I could hear every word of the tables next to us. The food took forever to arrive. The pizza appetizer was ok and the calamari chewy. The main meals came about 30 minutes later. Pasta was actually delicious and the veal special which the waiter did not describe properly was tasty."

"This place was a disappointment. It has potential because the food is good but it is poorly run. I fully expect Mr. Ardaji to indicate that this was voted best new Italian, but I don't know who was voting. As I said, the food was good, tasty, well prepared. The restaurant is simply poorly run. There was a wait of one hour between appetizer and entree and no one told us why. They made sure we had drinks if we wanted, etc. It seems that the waiters are assigned to the entire restaurant rather than tables so it was not clear who was responsible for us."

"We had to wait more than an hour for our food to be served. I believe our waiter forgot to put our order in, although we seemed to have been forgotten about. After complaining about the very long wait for our meal, and no one coming over to us and offering at least more bread during our wait and acknowledging the long delay, a second bottle of wine was sent to us (at no charge). Although our dinner was very good, once it arrived, the long delay did not make for a pleasant dining experience."

"We ordered pizza primavera -- hardly any vegetables. The pasta was nothing special. It was too noisy. They are always out of stock of the bottle of wine we select. We've given this restaurant three chances and each time we left thinking it wasn't worth it. So, NO MORE. We don't recommend it"

"Love their pizzas, and think they are about the Bes in Firfield County! Thinnest crust ever! Menu is terrific and I keep going back and trying new items and have never found something I don't really enjoy eating here. I wish their coffee cups were larger: my only complaint! "Very disappointing. Had 8:30pm reservations on a Friday night. Ordered my food with a bottle of wine, that was the only time that the waiter came to my table!!!!. I re-filled our wine glass over and over while the staff was hanging out on both ends of restaurant and the kitchen while the place was more than half empty, no wonder the food was very poor . Never again. Stay away!!!!"

"Great spot off the "Avenue" in Greenwich with a very lengthy menu with terrific food and something for everyone! Pizzas, salad s, pasta dishes and terrific appetizers! I brought a friend who worked nearby but had never been here before, nor heard of the place and was delighted with everything we had and said he would be a regular! I never tire of coming here because the foodis consistently great !"

"With regret I have to say that Toscana has come down considerably from its initial start. The food is just so-so, served by a wait staff that is visibly unhappy (the empty restaurant on a Friday night is a good indication why). The two doors at either end keep the restaurant always uncomfortable and loud mouths at the bar, directly adjacent to the main dining room, make the meal even less of an attraction."
