"We had a party of 6 and rather than being seated at a round table, we were put in a long kind of booth all facing out. It was a bit cramped for 6 and the people at one end couldn't talk to the people at the other. The service was slow and the food was just OK. All in all, we were all pretty disappointed as this used to be a better restaurant."

"As an SJC resident I like support local businesses and restaurants. We had walked into Vito's once before and stood around in the reception area looking for someone to seat us. No one ever did so we left. Deciding to give Vito's a second chance, we made a reservation on a Wednesday evening. We were quickly taken to a table with a reserved sign. Great start right? After 30 minutes of clueless staff members walking past us without offering anything...a hello, welcome, can I get you something to drink...we left again. Very unfortunate. Apparently we will never know what we are missing!"

"Had a very good experience at Vito's. We had the Chianti (on the happy hour special $5 a glass), stuffed mushrooms (also on happy hour special) and a veggie pizza. All the food was very good. We had a conversation with the owner, and he said he recently took over, and said the place wasn't being run properly before. Looks like it is now!"
