Awarded 3 Stars "EXCELLENT," by The Bergen Record - 9/23/11. Voted "BEST OF BERGEN 2008" by (201) Magazine - February 2008. Savini is a Sophisticated, Award Winning, Northern Italian/Continental Restaurant. Considered one of the most attractive restaurants in Bergen County, food is served at Savini in what was once a colonial home. What remains of the original only contributes to the aesthetics. But it is a positive culinary experience that diners seek and that is what they get at Savini. It excels in the three most significant barometers of a restaurant's health: Food, Service and Atmosphere. The cuisine is Northern Italian/Continental. Specialties cover the gamut – a selection of fresh fish delivered daily, homemade pasta, veal, chicken, steaks and chops. Enjoy coffee, and after-dinner drink and perhaps late night music in the lounge. Our cuisine and menu will please the most discerning palate and is both distinctive and unique.

"My family and I moved to town about a year and a half ago. With 2 small children, this was our first chance in months, with grandparents visiting, to go out on a "date". Our first time at Savini. Food, service, ambience excellent. Only thing, which is minor, is that their front entrance leads directly into a small, high-traffic corridor with waiters zipping back and forth. We actually thought we had gone in the wrong door until a hostess asked us for our reservation. Small thing, now that we know, and will definitely return."

"The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was courteous and extremely attentive - We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday and they really made us feel 'special'. Our food was delicious and they even made the offer of ordering anything we didn't see on the menu as long as the ingredients were in the kitchen! Great place for a special occasion. "Every time I go to Savini, I appreciate it more and more! Between the friendly and attentive staff and the delicious food, you can't go wrong. While the menu is Italian, with great escarole soup, eggplant rollatini and pasta, I also loved the grilled salmon with the perfectly seasoned dijon sauce. The staff takes excellent care of my daughter and I, who go often for dinner - order the cannoli & berries for dessert!"

"The food here was good. My beef carpaccio appetizer was't the best I've every had, but the chicken Savini was excellent and my canoli was both gigantic and delicious. My only major complaint is that while people frequently came to fill our water, our actual waiter took forever to come by so I had to wait a while for a second glass of wine. When we were done with dinner it took quite some time to get the check."

"Food and service was excellent. Was unaware we were going to be seated in Bar area. The table of 8 next to us was EXTREMELY loud. Then I was seated underneath an air duct which blew really hot air on my head forcing me to change seat was not exactly the best experience. This was supposed to be a post-valentine's day dinner ( Saturday after). Next time - I'll be sure to request a different room."

"My husband and I doned at Savini for Valentine's Day, so it was a busy and crowded night at the restaurant. Not entirely a fair night for a new customer to review. That said, restaurant attracts an older crowd - seem to be regulars. Service was very good. The ambiance was lacking though as our table faced the "kitchen runway". The chairs were "back to back" so when the person behind me moved (alot!) I felt every bump. Took me out of the dining experience.
Food need a little more spice - it was good but not outstanding. Dessert ~ fresh cannoli ~ was perfect!"

"Tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Loved it so much, we decided to make our Valentine's day plans here. Boy, were we not disappointed! Everything was absolutely SPECTACULAR! From the delicious appetizer of homemade fresh mozzarella soaked in Italian extra-virgin olive oil with fresh tomato and avocado, our entrees were both the "Veal Imperial" (our personal favorites - tender slices of veal with fresh lump crab-meat, tomato, and asparagus in a champagne sauce, and unfortunately, we had no room for dessert! The extensive wine list has something for everyone, no matter what your taste (or price range). Of course, the service is TOP-NOTCH! This has now become our favorite restaurant, and we will be back... SOON!!"
