"Had a great meal at open cork. Ended up opting to not get any appetizers and getting a pizza instead. A bit filling for an app for two people but it was great. Be sure to try the risotto!"

"We went to open cork for mother's day dinner. I made reservations for 6 people and we were seated right away. The dinner was tasty, the place was quiet busy and full. It's not a fancy restaurant and people don't get dressed up there but it's a very homey place and the owner is very pleasant. We went for dinner at 5 pm and when we got to dessert time they were out of chocolate cake. Overall, we had a good time and would come here again."

"We visited on Mother's Day (which is supposedly the busiest day of the year) so it's a little hard to write a fair review. After a minor scare with the reservation we were seated fairly promptly. Service was fairly friendly, though not outstanding. Things also took a while but I'm sure this was due to the fact that the restaurant was packed. The food was sort of hit and miss: the Mediterranean Salad was excellent and the Caesar was quite good for only $5.95. The pasta dishes seemed to be bigger hits than the meat (the prime rib was underdone and the duck over) but the flavours were all good. Also the prices were incredibly reasonable. I've been before and I'll be sure to give them another go when things aren't as crazy."

"Enhance wine selection by the glass - one or two is not enough. Provide a wine menu instead of having customer ask "what type" and "what brand" and "how much?" Isn't that common sense?
Also have market prices ready each evening included with the menu for fish dishes. Again, I HATE asking how much but always do so."

"This was my second time dining at this restaurant. I am glad that I returned for a second visit. The service and food was excellent. We chose a bottle of wine along with an appetizer and a couple of pasta dishes. All were very good. I would definitely come back to the restaurant."

"I have been to open cork many times in the past 10 years. It has a very dynamic atmosphere and exceptional staff. Very seldom have i encountered an unpleasant staff. The food was great, yet to be disappointed with their service. I was late for my reservation for 5, we did call about the delay but were accomodated in a different area. As soon as the main dinner area became available for my group, the owner offered us the option of moving, however, we were ok where we were put. The wine list was great as well, perfect for a girls night out. Great place, will continue to visit."

"The restaurant staff are helpful and nice. The decor and furniture are a little bit dated. Noise level is good, quiet enough for an intimate conversation. We had the steames mussels and bruscheta for starters, they were both really good. The range of wine selection is good and rightly priced. The main course, however, is a little bit of a letdown. I ordered the Orange Roughy with rice/pilaf. The fish was ok but I don't really get what the sauce was about. Rice pilaf was a bit mushy. My wife got the 'surf and turf' which was supposed to be a medley of grilled seafood featured with swordfish steak. Unfortunatly, taste was bland. Overall, it's a good place to have a quiet dinner but don't expect too much of the food."
