"Food was overpriced and also overcooked. At these prices a steak that was ordered medium rare should not come out barely medium. Potato was dry and the side dish choices were uninspired. As someone else suggested go to the lounge to have a drink and enjoy the view."

"This was our first time trying Aeries and we were not disappointed. We got there just as the sun had set and the view was spectacular. The ambiance of the restaurant was a comfortable modern and it went well with the food and wine selection.
The staff was friendly but not overly warm. Our server was very helpful with some great recommendations for both wine and food.
We ordered the crab cakes for our appetizer and honestly they were probable one of the best I have ever had, I only with there had been more of it. The three bite sized "cakes" were not really enough for my wife and I to split. The main course was very tasty and worth every penny. The only complaint was a very small dessert menu."

"Way overpriced for what you get. Food was average at best. Definitely was not a $170 experience as our tab showed before tip. Too many other good restaurants in Traverse City to waste your money at this one. Explains why there were only four tables full."
