"This was our second time dining here, once again, before a show. Everything was delicious! The roasted cauliflower - yum! The beet and feta, the spinach and quinoa salad - devine , and for dessert, a lichee sorbet with lavender liquor drizzled on top - incredible!! I wish they had a place in the North Valley - I would be there every week!!"

"The food was delicious so I would go back. However I'd hope that next time the service would be a bit more attentive. Our waiter was rather lackadaisical and couldn't seem to be bothered. Also several items on the menu weren't available and we were dining pretty early in order to catch a show."

"The cucumber drink was excellent. The menu should post that french fries come with the mussels (would have preferred baguette) and the sandwiches. The two of us ended up with 3 orders of fries that we were not expecting. Would have opted for a side salad or the like had we known."

"A pre-theatre dinner in LA is almost always a rushed, unsatisfying affair. Everyone's usually late because of traffic or last minute office problems making a relaxed meal impossible. This time, everyone was on time and we enjoyed terriffic food in a cool urban setting.
This place is kind of Bottega Louie Lite. GREAT salads (spinach quinoa and anchovy Cesaer were fantastic) perfect meats and a powerful Mexican chocolate ice cream for dessert.
Service was a little spotty, but then again we're hyper sensitive because we had to still make it to the Ahmanson and park in time for 8PM curtain."

"I was there on a week night, the noise level is quiet. I tried the steamed mussels and garkic shrimp, very good fir the starters. And a salad with salmon and quinoa, very good too. Decor is nice. I didi not have time to csych the hour for the market next to the dining area. Plan to go back."

"I am seriously in love with this place. I used to always drive by, and gazed at the amazing modern, romantic view of this place. Besides the amazing vibe I got, the food was amazing, and the alcohol choices were to die for. I will definitely be going there more often now that I've seen what the AH has to offer. Thank you!!!"

"The food was amazing. In a party of 6, everyone was happy with with their dinner. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I do think that they were understaffed the night we went. It was a bit of a wait for drinks and food to come out, but none of us where in a hurry and had a great night. Great place for a leisurely dinner.
I will definitely go back."

"This was our first time at Artisan House - we came across it researching restaurants near the Staples Center that were not the usually over-crowded, over-priced fare. This place was less than 5 minutes away and had street parking, so we did not have to pay more than $3 to park. The food was delish! We did a bunch of "shared plates" that included Roasted Cauliflower, Garlic Shrimp, Ahi Tuna Tar Tar, and shrimp Fritters. My daughter had a Pizza Margherita. The service was great and the server knowledgeable and courteous as were other members of the staff. A nice-sized wine list by the bottle and descent-sized wine list by the glass. Even though we live in the North Valley - we would definitely make the effort to visit this venue again!"

"They have changed their menus to "Small Plates". We were very dissappointed and will not return. The website also has not been updated to reflect the menu change."

"We enjoyed our food but the service was irregular--two entrees came almost five minutes before the other two. The bread were served was frozen in the center."

"Went on a Thursday evening to check out Dine LA. They were not really busy at all, just a few other tables. It took two hours for us to receive all 3 courses. Very unacceptable, and no apology or explanation from the staff. Once we finally received our food, however, the quality was good and the flavor was pleasing. The portion size was a bit small."

"Will never eat here for DineLA... and not sure if I will ever come back. Our reservation was at 7pm and we didn't get our entrees until 9:45pm!? I understand a restaurant can be busy but waiting 2 hours between the appetizer and entree is too long."

"The food was quite tasty but the service was so poor that the evening dragged on. It took between 30-45 minutes in between each course and it seemed like the establishment was understaffed.
Food and setting was extremely good otherwise."

"We went in for DineLA week but loved the menu and ended up ordering off of the main menu. We had to wait to be seated (8:30 reservation sat around 8:45) but after that we had truffle fries--a must and soups. Our entrees took a bit of time but were well worth the wait. Even with the extra extra long wait time on the entrees I would eat here again and bring friends with me."

"My girlfriends and I tried out Artisan House for dineLA and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. We had the mussels, the buratta and the soup appetizers and we were all very happy with our dishes. We all had the steak frites which were also delicious. The bignets were okay, the ice cream had melted by the time it got to our table which leads to the "fair" ambiance rating. The restaurant was SO HOT! They had turned up the heater and we were sweltering inside. We asked the manager to turn down the heat which I think they did, but even so, it was way too hot inside the restaurant to truly be able to enjoy our meal."

"Overall the food was very good and the atmosphere very pleasant. Even the noise level was manageable, which is not always the case when the venue has hard floors and soaring ceilings. The major issue encountered was the outage of a number of menu items which the server didn't know about until after the order was placed. One of them took quite a while for someone to finally come with a message from the kitchen that they were out of that entree and to please select another. A similar fate occurred with items from the wine list, entrees, and desserts."
