Firebrew
FIREBREW is the creation of Dean and Sue Gonsior. In 2001, the Gonsiors opened the first Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Virginia and just nine years and 38 units later, they expanded TSC from an unknown concept to household name throughout Hampton Roads.
Our concept's name represents two of our three main attributes: cooking with open flame (FIRE) and full service bar with several local and regional microbrews on draft (BREW). The third focal point of the restaurant is its exclusive 24 bottle self-serve wine station, where guests can select and pour their own wine in three different pour sizes; 1 oz (taste), 2.5 ozs. (half glass), and 5 ozs. (full glass).
FIREBREW's simple yet highly desirable and affordable menu allows guests to return often without feeling like they emptied their wallet.

"As always Firebrew did an outstanding job. The black and blue burger and the pizza are outstanding. We had a party of six and never felt rushed to leave even though we sat there having a drink for about an hour or so after dinner.

"As usual Fire Brew was an enjoyable evening out. We met our daughter and her boyfriend there. We never felt rushed even though we were there for a half hour before we looked at he menu. Needless to say we were enjoying wine and beer during this time. The food as always was outstanding. Highly recommend Fire Brew for your next evening out!"
