"This was date-night for my wife and I, and we had a very nice time. The reservations made online were simple, and I recieved a call from them the day before to confirm, which I like. We arived on time, and the hostess was friendly and seated us right away. The waiter was extremely helpfull and was able to explain any item on the menu. I found the service just right (that is, there when you needed him, but not pestering after every bite). The resturant was full, but I did not feel rushed to finish and leave. The food was exelent, and just as the waiter described. Drinks were a bit spendy, but prompt.
My only complaints would be that the seating is a little cramped, and that the noise level was a little higer than I like."

"This resturant has really gone down hill. We had not visited for about 3 years and found the food to be overpriced and the service to be awful. Not a good value for the price
We where very disappointed by our latest experience. I ordered a vodak collins and sent it back as it was bitter I could not drink it. We had multiple service people walk by our table looking at the used dishes piled on our table..not one of them picked up the dishes."

"This was not our first visit. As usual the food was wonderful. Our service was not quite as good as it has been in the past. It was however, adequate. It was our anniversary and we shared the night with friends. They enjoyed the food immensely, as well. I heard our friend say superb to describe his seafood platter."

"We like this restaurant. We went for my birthday celebration. Warm enough to sit outside. Disapointed with the food. Lots of oil on my fish and my wife's scampi pasta was very bland. Normally we come for the happy hour where they have a great food menu and lots of drinks to order from.
The one waitress who we have seen before and does well for us, seemed to be running both the outside and the bar. Not sure where the other help was."

"This whole experience was horrible! I've been a chef for 15 years and have never been so embarrassed about dining in this restaurant. Wine was corked, food was dry and flavorlus and or server forgot drinks and apps and just tried to joke it off unacceptable!!!! Take your business and money else were!"

"We went for a Valentine's Day dinner. the salad was good, but the entrees were not. We had razor clams, which the server said were 'flash frozen' but VERY tender. they were not, they were rather tough - to eat and to cut. We also had Parmesan sole, which was overcooked and mushy. I would not return to this restaurant. Our bill with 2 glasses of wine was over $70 and not worth it."

"It was valentines day we had made our reservation weeks in advance they shoe horned is into small tables in the common area of what was the bar. Every server or customer either bumped my head/shoulders with their but when they passed by. I usually enjoy this restaurant but it would seem they didn't know how to schedule the night or just stuffed as many customers into one space."

"McCormicks Fish House is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently good and the service is always excellent. The lunch we had on Saturday with was with friends we hadn't seen in quite some time and our waiter was considerate enough that he didn't have to interrupt our conversation to ask if we needed anything, he just foresaw our need and took care of it. I might also mention it's good value. The portions are ample and the food is always hot when it reaches the table."

"The food was very good. The restaurant is too dark, not super clean and the service was pretty slow. The waitress was nice and it was nicely quiet. A good clean and some more bulbs in the light fixtures and it would be a top notch place to go to. It is a little tired, has been in that location for years and needs a good update."

"Have gone to McCormick's for the happy hour several times and it was a great place to catch up with friends. I decided to take my mom on a special dinner and eat in the dining room this time. Some of our party arrived for happy hour and had a few drinks before our reservation. When the rest of our party arrived for our reservation we were asked if we would sit in the bar because they were backed up and didn't know when they could seat us. We ended up occupying the same table that many of our group had been at for the last hour.
Good news- the staff was wonderful. The bad news- we were at a bad location- right as you enter the bar; the food was SLOWWWW to be delivered and bland and not tasty. Dessert was the worst I've tasted in years."
