Dish on Market is Downtown Louisville's home of Brunch seven days a week and Prime Rib served eleven different ways. With small plates ranging from Reuben won tons to house made hummus and fresh salads from Cobb to Greek, you're sure to find something for everyone. "I chose this location because it was close to the Center and priced reasonably. This is the old Delta restaurant if your from Lou. Not a dive but well used. The bar area is interesting because of the time its been around including the Delta neon sign above. We ordered a Hot Brown burger and the Chicken and Waffle plate. The burger was tasy but the fries were average. The waffle had something in it that I couldn't recognize as edible but the staff took care of it quickly and apologetically. I would go back for another pre-theater meal."

"More than 1/2 of our table of 14 had food that was lukewarm to cold. I'm sorry but almost cold breakfast isn't something I would recommend. It was ashame because it was Mother's Day and 80th birthday together. I will say that the wait staff was great and brought a piece of cake with candle and two roses to my mom which was a very nice touch. I hate to complain and it may be due to the large party."

"We had a nice meal at Dish before attending an evening out. We had our two children (6 & 8). Our server was great with kids bringing them pens and large napkins to draw on. Good was good. My kids loved the burger my fried chicken was also excellent. It was a very generous portion."

"We all had great meals. Only concern was they did not have our reservation when we arrived and a party of 30 was there for a baby shower and their reservation had been lost! Place was packed so not a good situation. Service and food were stellar however."

"My husband and I met here for dinner before the recent Fleetwood Mac concert at the KFC Yum Center. Service was attentive but not intrusive. My husband ordered the Falls City kissed fish, and he reported that it tasted as good as it looked. I ordered the Hot Brown and it was also as tasty as it was attractive. The bar appeared to be well-stocked, although we stuck with Coke products that evening. I'd definitely go back!"

"In one short weekend, Dish became my go-to place for delicious, down home food in downtown Louisville. Very reasonably priced and flexible on substitutions. I had fried chicken on my first visit and it was delectable. I asked for a coleslaw instead of green beans and it was the best cole slaw I ever had. There must have been a touch of mustard in it.
Had lunch there a couple of days later (they are famous for their Hot Brown), but I had the fish and chips, another winner.
Their sweet potato fries are great, too, and the bar knows what it is doing."

"We had a wonderful Easter Brunch at Dish on Market. Our party of 6 was seated immediately and they were very accomodating with my elderly mother and moved us downstairs so she would not have to climb the stairs. The service was good but the food was excellent. I will definitely return here again."

"The food here is a amazing. We have been a few times and everytime we come back it is just as good as the last visit. Their breakfasts are phenomenal and huge. "Food was very good, especially the burger. Very inexpensive as well. Will be going back. Even got a photo op with Coach Howard Schnellenberger who happen to be there the same night. ( V-day 2013 just before UL basketball game)"

"My food was lukewarm when served. waitress was in a big hurry to turn the table. Gave us little time to enjoy our drinks , we ordered an appetizer and it also arrived lukewarm.
I ordered Salmon w/ sweet potato fries, my husband ordered the Fried Chicken dinner.
My salmon was lukewarm and the fries were cold. His fried chicken was good but the waitress tried to take his plate away before he was finished eating. I realize it was Valentine's day but we had an early reservation(6:3o) and they were not swamped.
I will never eat at this restaurant again."
