Like our 13 provinces and territories, Italy has 20 wonderful regions, each one more adamant than the other that they have the best food in the country. Our menu at Fraticelli's is to serve you the best of the best from these wonderful regions. Our steaks are cooked over a high heat wood-fire grill made famous in Tuscany. Our pastas are fresh and our sauces are homemade ranging from the classic northern dish Pappardelle Bolognese to the southern Sicilian style seafood pasta, Spaghetti Pescatore. The pizzas are served Napoletana; style, thin crust and stone baked at 750 degrees. All made with the freshest ingredients available, authenticated with imported Italian plum tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, and the best grated cheeses.

"Amazing service, and quality food! The service was absolutely incredible, and they took care in making sure everything was catered to our needs. Food and drinks came quickly, and we were provided with an attentive waiter who made us feel welcome and at home. Would definitely go back again and is highly recommended!"

"The butternut squash was one of the best dishes at our table. The crab torta was also very good, made with real crab, and the fresh bread they offer was worth a second helping. The food was overall very good but I felt that it was overpriced for what you get. The service was great from the beginning to end. The decorations and setup of the restaurant were very classy and impressive but I found the restaurant very noisy. The music was too loud which made people talk even louder. At one point I think I even heard rock music playing before switching back to jazz. In the end, I felt that it was a good experience but now that I've tried it once I don't think I really need to again."

"I had the cioppino on Mother's Day recently. While the smell was fantastic and the fish and shrimp were fresh and tasty, over half of my mussels were very bad. My husband had the same meal and his mussels were all fresh but I will never venture to try this dish at this resaurant again. I mentioned this to the waiter but he did nothing about it nor did he comment. Perhaps the excessive noise prevented him from hearing but he did appear to look concerned. This lack of response was reflected in his tip."

"As a family of 5, we were celebrating Mother's day and a birthday. It was the perfect place to do so. We were seated in the bar area because it was such a busy night, but enjoyed the atmosphere there. The playoff hockey game was on the tv and we were entertained by that. The food was better than expected. The menu was very good - lots to choose from and met everyones tastes. The service was excellent even on such a busy night. Our server was very lovely and charming. She never missed a thing."

"This would be our third trip to Fraticelli's and the reason we go back is the food and service has been great. However, this past visit I went with six other adults and though the food was on par I found the service to be a bit lacking.
To start some party members had ordered soup only to have it arrive with no spoons. When we requested spoons only one arrived as they had run out of cutlery...how does a restaurant run out of cutlery???
When the food did arrive it was not what i would call hot, luke warm at best, which was not pleasing. Having said that if one were to get over that the food was delicious as usual and we did have a wide array of dishes ordred from a salad to steak with bacon compote.
A fourth visit is till in the cards."

"This restaurant has a pretty complete menu, so I will likely be back to try a different dish. The food was good and the flavor was evident, but the portions were odd depending on what type of dish you ordered.
Pizza is a fair size, and the pasta is a pretty good size too. However, I felt that the entree portions were too small to justify the price.
Oh, and the bread is amazing. No kidding.
For dessert, I tried the cannoli. Not impressive. They had a citrus taste that didn't belong, they were brittle and just wasn't satisfying. That said, they were fairly priced."

"Impeccable service. Waiter was kind, smiled a lot, and genuinely providing great service. He seemed like one of those nice guys that people forgot exist. "Our waitress Amelia has no smile on her face. Even after we asked her twice for bread refill, she did not bring us. We had to ask another waitress "the third time" before the bread refill was brought to us by the other waitress. When we asked for our bill, she automatically added an amount(her tip) on top of the total of food, alcohol and HST. When we question how come the amount did not add up, she just took the bill and change the amount of the credit card authorization back to the actual bill amount.
I have been to this restaurant a few times and usually the service is good. I am very disappointed about the service I received this time."

"Much better than the last time we were there. Server was friendlier than our last visit. Great for adult party at dinner time but too dark for our little one at dinner time. Had the Valentine's dinner, not on Valentine's day. Wasn't the worst but still not great meals or desserts so we felt disappointed at the price when the bill came. Should have asked before ordering and stuck with an a-la-cart dinner. Overall, I've been disappointed with something each visit. Will only go back if someone else is planning an event there, and will only order the mushroom risotto. I will not be hosting any more get togethers, family dinners, date nights, etc at this restaurant."

"First time I went on a Groupon deal it was great! Very good service and the steak fiorentina cooked to perfection and the seafood pasta the gf got was very tasty with a very generous amount of seafood.
Second time around the food suffered a bit. The ny strip was very undercooked (I asked for medium rare) but the insides were rare to blue. (considering the restaurant was less busy this time around). The pasta you can't really go wrong with! I'd repeat and hope for a slightly better food experience. Love the atmosphere though."

"We ordered crab ball and caramari as appertizers, and both dishes are delicious and plenty to our likes.
As for main courses, we ordered tenderloin and striploin that both seem to be a bit off at some point. When the tenderloin arrives, it is at room temperature which is quite unacceptable that we sent back for reheat. After reheating it, the steak tastes much better but a bit too much burnt on the outside. The striploin is just fair because the cut is thinner than most steakhouses so the texture is not as good as I anticipated.
Overall, we had quite a good experience at the restaurant as the atmosphere is great for special occasions even though the food is somehow a bit disappointing."

"Me and my wife went there for the first time and found it to be the best dercision we have made. The piano guy was amazing and very talented. the total atmosphere was awesome. "They really screwed up our order. Manager apologized twice, did not charge us for our food and gave us gift certificates to come back. I liked that they apologized, but still, it was not an enjoyable experience, we had to eat in a hurry (it was lunch time) and one person in our party had to take his lunch to go."

"We were not crazy about the food it was good, but our waiter was amazing! He was a delight to have us serve us and it made up for food. Our pasta sauce was heavy (tasted sort of like the thick sauce in jars) ans chicken parmesan was a little dry as well as veal. They were a little thin as well. We were expecting a salad a little bit larger than what was served. Antipasto and bread were great."

"I reserved my table on line. Upon arriving at the restaraunt I was dissappointed to find out that there had been a technical difficulty with the computer system and my reseved table was in the piano lounge and not in the dining room. The manager was kind enough to find us a table in the dining room, however we had to wait for half an hour."
