"We had a terrific time! The food was excellent, and was exactly what we expected. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the pricing, but it seemed reasonable to me. $40-$60 for a steak of this quality was certainly not out of bounds. (Sorry, folks, it ain't Outback.) The side dish we had was excellent (the jalapeno mac & cheese), and I only wish we had tried more of them. The bread pudding for dessert was one of the best I've had, though beware if you don't like raisins. The best part of the night was our service, though. Jeff, our waiter, made it relaxed and fun, and took great care of us. I had read several times that service took forever, but we were in an out in an hour and a half. Great birthday meal!"

"Me an my wife had never been to Myrons at Alon Town center we had seen it on our trips to HEB. We were very impressed by the wait staff and the food . Yes it is pricey but it is a Steak Restaurant one will pay for great food and experience.

"Often my husband and I find ourselves dining at restaurants where it's not about the meal but about the experience. Myron's definitely has that "experience" feel. The food is outstanding but be prepared to dine for a lengthy amount of time; or perhaps it was merely our server. While we enjoyed the food we felt that the service was just a little slow. Not sure if it was intentional to give us that "feel" or simply he was distracted. Overall the food is delicious and the ambiance enjoyable. Give it a go!"

"Our third outing to Myron's. It has quickly become our goto restaurant for special occasions. The food and service have been outstanding for all our visits. The staff is very respectful and lets the customer determine how formal or informal the interaction will be. For this April visit, April(although she wasn't born in April) was our waitperson and she was close to perfect. Had the chateaubriand for 2 and it was cooked to perfection. Already looking forward to our next visit."

"Great place for steak lovers and those that appreciate a fine dining experience and are willing to pay for it. Start off with Shrimp Myron, then a salad is included with your steak of choice, great sides are Potatoes Myronaisse and Sautéed Spinach. If you love red wine our waiter suggested 2 that we thought were excellent...The Sum and Deep Sea, a blend form the Central Coast...you can't go wrong with either!
Our waiter, Jeff, had some wonderful suggestions and was very attentive and professional without being overbearing or stuffy. It's such a great combination when you have a knowledgeable waiter/waitress who can mix in just the right amount of light hearted humor with your meal and make the dining experience a memorable one."

As an appetizer we ordered the Shrimp Myron, several shrimp dunked in a ridiculously delicious sauce that you'll want to put in a cup and drink after the shrimp are gone!
For my main entree I ordered the bone-in filet. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. We split the creamed spinach and the potatoes au gratin and both were amazing. For dessert we splurged and ordered the bread pudding and the pecan pie. The bread pudding is simply the best in the city! Do not leave this place without ordering it.

"It was strange for us to have an 8:00 reservation and get a polite greeting with no warmth or instruction. Not pointed to bar or any seating. Then the owner gives the next couple an over the top greeting and immediately they are seated. We still had not been pointed to the bar and there is no seating in hostess area. We then look around the corner to find the bar on our own. It was really cold and almost impolite.
However the hostess came and got us in about 5 minutes. Our server (Paul) was great and the food was very good. Was shocked to learn that the owner was part of that greeting. He was nice but it came across as indifferent or distracted."

"I took my husband here for dinner as he wanted a good steak and I wanted a romantic night out and something special for his birthday. Myron's did not disappoint. The food was amazing...the king crab was perfectly cooked and the presentation was fantastic. My husband's filet was also perfect and delicious. The service was also very good and our waiter made very good wine suggestions. I would absolutely recommend Myron's and we will certainly be going back"

"The overall experience was very good. I only had two concerns: first, the table light was so dim I had to use the miniature flashlight on my keyring to read the menu. Secondly, the baked potato wasn't warm. The steak was excellent."

"Our waiter gave us a brief history of the restaurant which touted the quality of the meats that would be served. Unfortunately, the steak was tough and the shrimp were overcooked. Everything was seasoned fairly well, but heavy on the salt. The ambiance and the service were exactly what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. IF the food had risen above average, I wouldn't have minded paying the premium prices. As it turned out, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant."

"I ordered the fish of the night which was red fish. We were the first people there and the restaurant was not busy. It took 1 hr for us to get our food (a long time for a few people). My fish was dry and they changed the sauce on the fish. Instead of being a Cajun sauce ( as initially quoted ) it came with the cilantro vinaigrette. The Vinaigrette was very vinagery and was an absolute awful pairing with the red fish. I only had a couple of bites of the fish. In addition the fish was very dry, the edges were hard ( beyond crisp), very salty, and the breading was over cooked. I tried to eat it at home and threw it away. So I paid $36.00 for a dish I couldn't eat. My husband's steak had no taste. Won't eat here again."

Started with chorizo stuffed quail which was new to the menu.
It was a knocked out of the park. Steak was great as usual, 22oz bone in ribeye is the best in the city in my opinion.

"My family was in San Antonio for my sons graduation from the Air Force BMT. LookIng online for awesome dinning experience I ran across Myron's, I had read reviews from every steak house in town knowing Texas was known for beef. My family had the best dining experience possible our waiter Paul rocked . If I am ever back in town myron's will be my only choice for dining."

"The food was generally ok, but the steak I had was not up to the price. The steak had lots of fibrous material i.e. tendons etc. All of the other items were ok. The service was excellent. Overall, I think that other steakhouses in San Antonio are better. Most of the items are overpriced. I may go back on rare occasions because it is very convenient for me. I felt like I was paying more for the service than the food. It appears that they have way too many people on the wait staff."
