Aslam's Rasoi
Few will find it surprising that Indian food is easier to find these days, as you may be aware, Indian cuisine is growing in popularity for many good reasons. Indeed, the complex spices and fresh ingredients are leading many to choose Indian Cuisine as more than just an exotic dining experience... but as a healthy, everyday dining choice.
Here at Aslam's Rasoi, we also add a broad palette of Pakistani flavors to our menu and we are proud to see that our addition of Pakistani cuisine has proved a successful choice.
This blending of cuisine can be readily enjoyed in our main courses and our selection of appetizers. We hope you will try these dishes in addition to our inventive Indian Cuisine.

"Aslam's Rasoi is far too loud and warm but their food more than makes up for this. Lamb korma was delicious, chicken jalfrezi was okay for American standards and the pakora appetizers were also tasty. The best thing was their naan bread. If you like Pakistani cuisine with attentive service, this is the place for you."

"Really great food. Very busy on a Saturday night, make a reservation if you can! It's a little cramped because they try to fit everyone in. The mixed vegetable curry (can't remember the name) was amazing. All of the sauces and spices were great! The server was great at helping us order the right amount of food and pick good dishes, she was a little absent after that but that was fine because we were enjoying the food. Good food, a little on the pricey side but it was a great dinner."

"This is my go to spot for excellent Indian food. There's never a wait. The flavored of their dishes are spot on. While most places have dry chunks of chicken breast, this remains moist and tender. The waitstaff is more than helpful and accommodating. We ordered the prawns korma and he suggested adding fruits to it as the chef had made the dish for his with the addition of pineapple. This is always the place I go whenever I need comfort food.
Chai - rich creamy
Mango lassi - creamy and sweet. Definitely a dessert drink
Chicken mahkani - awesome! Creamier version of the tikka masala.
Prawns korma - excellent!
Kheer - excellent rice pudding. They don't have this all the time though!"

"Aslams Rasoi is the yummiest Indian food in town. It is centrally located on Valencia and always has tables available. The service is always amazingly friendly and inviting. Try the prawn korma - it is delicious!"

"One of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood- owned by such a gracious family. They serve consistently outstanding food- chicken korma (kids love), bengan bartha and kheer (when they make it) are the staple for us. They are extremely kind to our kids. We love they are thriving in this location, we need to have them around like, forever."
