"I have never given five stars to any dining establishment because there is always something that needs improving, however I cannot yet find anything to suggest for the BeachHouse. I've tried.
The food is fresh. I ordered the clams for an appetizer and the sauce is worth bragging about. The stuffed halibut was flavorful, fresh and rich. Green beans nice and tender, potatoes were just right.
My other half ordered the surf and turf. The steak was tender and grilled just as he ordered it and the shrimp were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
The kids love the s'mores at the table and I adore the chocolate cake. We had great service and were very well taken care of. The view of the lake was beautiful!"

"Having done my usual procrastination, I was extremely fortunate to find an available reservation here for Mother's Day brunch for our family of 4. There didn't appear to be a bad seat in the house-all seem to have a view out the large panoramic windows looking straight out onto Lake Washington (with patio dining outside too). The view would be fantastic during a clear day or sunset. The service was friendly and quick and the food arrived at a good temperature. The waiter kept my coffee cup filled and was attentive. Don't let the name "Bar and Grill" fool you, this place is family and kid friendly-although I would suspect it gets a bit more grown-up in the evening; there is a full bar separated from the main dining area."

"Even though I had reservations for 6:30, my party of 4 didn't get a table until 6:50, after I checked back in with the hostess, who told me it would be another 15 minutes. That is unacceptable for having reservations, and I complained, which got us seated earlier. Walk-ins were quoted a 30 minute wait and still got seated before us.
We placed our orders at 7:00 but our food did not arrive until 7:35. We finally managed to get the check at 8:30. As usual, the food was good, and I had no complaints there.
We were entertaining an out-of-town friend. This was not my first time at BeachHouse, but there are lots of good restaurants to choose from and based on the service, I'm not likely to take a guest here again. I was sorely disappointed."

"I always return for the view. It is so wonderful.
We had a very nice pecan salad. We also had the Happy Hour chicken dish (forgot the name) and it was nice appearance, but a bit too bready and weak on flavor. However, nice surprise to find drinks and meals at Happy Hour prices always on Monday.
The waiters were very nice and think it was the bar tender who kindly brought my friend a nice wine sample, that we then bought. I had a great Happy Hour mixed drink.

"We were a group of 10. Between the music and talking of other diners and general background noise it was difficult to for all of us to hear conversations at opposing ends of table. Our server was great, the view was beautiful (and a little blinding due to the sunny day), and my dinner (seafood kabobs) was yummy. The restaurant allowed us to bring a birthday cake into the restaurant and eat it, which was nice."

"The service was fair but the hostess was very rude when asked to accommodate one of the guests in our party that was disabled. The food was nothing special; it was generic, had very little flavor, and cookie cutter style at best. The BeachHouse Bar and Grill is not suitable for disabled individuals. We did not have a very pleasant Easter Brunch and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"Went there to try the Beachhouse Burger as I saw it was the 4th anniversary on Facebook for a $9.95 special price. Since the weather was nice, I was looking forward to a view of the lake. We were seated at a window table with a great view. The restaurant was not very busy and we were greeted warmly by our waitress who I believe was in training. We ordered a Beachhouse burger to split and a blue cheese salad with grapes and candied pecans. They split the burger for us and on the top of each bun was a little cornichon-the presentation was very nice. The salad was drenched in what was like a diluted ranch dressing. The lettuce leaves were limp and there wasn't any blue cheese to be found. We should have sent it back but we didn't."

"The chef seems partial to pesto sauces for a fair number of menu items. A little sauce variety would be a good thing to introduce to the menu. The asparagus was cooked to perfection! The food/plate presentation was lackluster at best. Kind of ho hum except for the view. Oh, and prepare to park on the street. This restaurant only has about 10 parking spaces of its own."

"What a hidden gem of a restaurant! We used to go here many years ago when it was the Foghorn and always enjoyed the ambience, view and food. It has transformed into a lively place and still offers a great view with many delicious menu options and drinks. We celebrated Easter with family and the service, food and drinks were spot on. I had the NY Steak Dip which came with options for sides and I chose the salad. So good! We are talking platters of food and very reasonably priced. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and couldn't decide on the dungeness crab, canadian bacon or florentine so they put ALL 3 on his plate. All of us enjoyed our food - perfectly prepared and presented. We will definitely be returning for their Happy Hour and dinner."

"It was busy when we arrived but got seated right away with our Open Table reservation. Server did take a while to get to us though. Food was good - nothing spectacular but tasty. Server was friendly but not very attentive. Not a big deal but she could use some lessons on how to pour wine.

"I was so impressed with the noise level. It was so quiet for a bar and grill, and the place was almost full! The service was great. The atmosphere was fantastic, it was causal but not too informal. I thought the menu selection was a little small, but there was still a lot of variety. The food is the best part about this place. I got the veggie burger. It looked and tastes great. I noticed from looking around that the other menu options looked just as good, and were probably also delicious. Price is reasonable ($10-20for average dinner plate) and portions are perfect, not too small but not too generous either. The view is of course gorgeous as well; you can see the water from most of the seating."

"The problem with this restaurant is the food has always been inconsistant. The tUna appetizer was excellent. The steak tasted like hamburger meat. Chocolate cake melted in your mouth. "We went for brunch after church last Sunday. I had seen their ad for "kid eat free" on their brunch, and with twin toddler grandchildren, we decided to give it a try. Including the two kids in high chairs, there were seven of us.
We had a nice table with a view of the water. It is certainly pretty, but there is very little activity, so it was not as entertaining for the children as we might have liked. But the adults enjoyed seeing a bald eagle soar past our window!
All the food was good and our waiter was friendly and helpful. The food took quite a while to arrive. But there was a great selection, and we will come back. Apparently this is quite the spot for families, as most tables had at least one child."

"Great view on the water. Food is good (not great). Interior is outdated - not sleek, chic like many of the newer restaurants. Not busy at all for lunch. The place feels a bit deserted."

"It was our first time trying the BeachHouse since we were looking to try something different then our normal Anthony's weekend routine. While looking online we found this restaurant with helpful reviews, was able to quickly make online reservations, and even being 15 minutes earlier than planned was seated right away. The food was brought out promptly and tasted great, the portions were very generous, and the staff extremely attentive.
I look forward to our next visit and trying a few more different menu items!"

"This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The first time we had apps in the bar and it was great. Good food, nice view, good service. This time we had a big group which was nicely accommodated. The service was fantastic. Food was very good too. It was dark so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the view. The waitress even separated the checks."

"I thought the place was really great. Read mixed reviews and we couldn't have been more pleased after a small miscommunication with a rare vs. well done burger. The fish and appetizers were very good and the service superb. Will definitely go back."

"Very good! We had an early seating that allowed us a wonderful spot on the water. We were meeting friends we had not seen for some time and were able to enjoy an intimate visit with them. We will definitely return."

"WE had a group of 11. On open table we had to split it into 2 reservations but the restaurant was great about combining us once the rez were in the system. We had great seats. Super kid friendly on sunday. TV in the dining area if your DH needs a sunday football fix. Great food choices for kids. Big portions. I got the crab eggs benedict with potatoes. The potatoes were heavenly and the eggs benedict wasn't shabby either. All the food at the table looked delish. Would definitely go again. Only con from the meal - the coffee was very weak! We're in Seattle, c'mon!"
