Table 24 in downtown Orinda offers a menu with great neighborhood comfort food. "We just had a couple of chopped salads for lunch, but they were very tasty, not too much dressing, good combination of vegetables & grilled chicken. The open kitchen made for a lot of noise, of the crash! bang! variety, which isn't that pleasant."

"The main plus for us at Table 24 is the atmosphere. It's fun and lively (lots of kids may be a plus or a minus). The menu is good. The food and service is ok. Prices are reasonable. So, all and all, it's a decent place and we'll probably be back."

"Had not been here before but a friend recommended it to us. We were VERY happy with it. I had the pumpkin ravioli with brussel sprouts and my boyfriend had flatiron steak with cesear salad. The waiter was very attentive despite the crowds. All the food was great, including the desserts which are house made. The manager also came by the table to check in on us and greeted us very warmly when we said it was our first visit. We will definitely be back"

"Great comfort food for the whole family: a wood fired brick oven produces great pizzas, a delicious and healthy eggplant sandwich for moms and great french fries for dad kept everyone in my picky family happy. Service is casual and friendly. Centrally located in Orinda's Theatre Square, there are a number of tables outside. In short, a casual, friendly family place with higher quality and greater variety of menu items than a "family restaurant" and nice, open feel to it. Ideal for lunch or before/after a movie at the beautifully refurbished Orinda Theatre next door. Validated parking, too!"

"When the restaurant wasn't full, although the kitchen was on time and food arrived, the rest of the service was slow. Promises to refill our water weren't kept. Hard to get waitstaff attention. Noisy inside."

"This was our first visit to Table 24. The brunch was fantastic. My son had the eggs Benedict, which he loved, and I had the chop salad (which featured cumin and lime vinaigrette) and a bistro steak that was cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly, professional, and quick. We will definitely visit again soon!"
