"The perfect place to celebrate my brother's birthday. He is a seafood lover and declared the crab cake one of the best he has ever had and the shrimp were perfectly cooked! The private dining booth was great and the service was outstanding."

"When I arrived and gave the host up front my name, they could not locate my reservation, although someone called me the previous Friday to confirm. I had notified the restaurant that we were running about 10 minutes late, and the gentleman that answered the phone insured me that was ok, they will see us when we get there. Anywho, we were seating immediately when we arrived and the food was excellent. Since I am on a special eat regime, my special requests were met without a hitch. The Sea Bass was a bit fatty/oily for my liking but overall, everything was good."

"Did not expect to be so delighted - special Brunch menu prices were reasonable, service was impecable (thanks, Christian) and we had outdoor covered seating in a charming corner gazebo by the lake. The afternoon was relaxed and intimate. Will definitely be back."

"Unfortunately, the waiter was extremely rude. We ate here on Mother's Day and were enjoying our time together as a family and our waiter said that my husband was sitting next to his mother. His mother was sitting across from him and his wife was sitting next to him. I got up from the table in tears. It was either that or kick him in the balls. I was humiliated in front of others at our table. I just got married so I am supposed to be a happy newlywed, but this made me really sad that night. My husband and I each spoke to the manager and I hope the waiter doesn't have his job any longer."

"My family and I had our Mother's Day lunch here this year. Everything went pretty well with a few issues. The first was parking - there are three or four restaurants in that shopping center that share a valet. When we arrived, we had to wait in the street in a turn lane for a good 10 minutes before we could even get into the lot. From there, it was another 10 minutes before we could get to the valet stand.
The food was good for the most part. The notable exception was my seared tuna. It was small and average at best, with the tuna being a little dry and not the freshest. I expected more for $30.
Service was also good for the most part. The exception was me having to raid another table for small plates after waiting for 10 mins."

"I had the grouper with lump crab on top. It was great. It is a bit pricey, but not outrageous. The service was a bit underwhelming. We had to ask for refills after our glasses were empty for a bit. However, it was Mother's Day, so I will cut them some slack. The service was friendly, just a bit slow. They did give the women at the table chocolate truffles for dessert for free. Those were nothing short of incredible. If that is on their regular menu and you are a chocolate fan, I highly recommend saving some room for dessert."

"We had Mothers Day dinner at the Perimeter location and were seated immediately even after a 30 minute delay because of traffic. Service was prompt and patient with our indecision on the choice of our meals. The selection of seafood was wonderful with the fresh fish choices. Our server was well informed and helpful with us newbies. There were 6 of us and we were seated in a private room which made the atmosphere feel like we could laugh and carry on a conversation without disturbing others. We have already made plans to return."

"We took our mother here the day before Mother's Day. We all enjoyed the appetizers and entrees. The dessert menu looked so yummy but we were too full. They have a nice, huge bar area. Outside dining was beautiful and peaceful."

"I booked a table for 5 at McCormick and Scmick's for Mother's Day nearly three weeks in advance and confirmed the reservation twice. When we arrived, they put us in the bar. When I protested, they said that was all that was available. So much for the ambience, surrounded by five tv screens. We might as well have gone to a sports bar. The manager never visited our table so I couldn't complain to him, but we had a great view of all the people in the lobby being seated in the restaurant after us. Our waitress was the hostess, who refilled our drinks exactly once. The truffles that were supposed to come for Mom never did (guess they weren't for those sitting in the bar). I will never spend another dime there."

"Although food is good, the noise level is incredibly loud with slamming dishes and clanking silverware. We came to enjoy a relaxing dinner but left tense and unhappy due to the loud noise coming from the kitchen and server station. When speaking to the manager, he blamed it on the open kitchen. We have been to plenty of restaurants, including this one, and have not experienced this noise level. If you don't mind banging and clanking, this restaurant is for you. We have removed this restaurant from our choice for dining."

"Have been here for lunc several times and must say the food this tim was the best it has ever been. All the selections in the seasonal menu were very well prepared. However, the prices on this menu were ridiculously high. The prices were more than double of those on the regular menu, fo example, over $35 for grilled salmon. The service at the table was very good. However, the person at the front dest was rude. First, he could not find our reservation and then refused to believe that we had one. The open tablke site showed us to be a "no show," which was later corrected."

"We were very disappointed in the sirloin steak dinner for our grandson's 9th birthday. The steak was tough and full of grizzle. We chose McCormicks because our grandson wanted a good steak. He could not eat the meat he was served. The other adults had fish which were all good. Overall, I would not go back or recommend the restaurant."

"I love the little booths to the side! The service was fabulous! We had a 9:30PM reservation but didn't realize they closed early at 10PM. We were there until 11:30PM and no one rushed us out. I felt horrible we kept them that late but it was nice to know service comes first. Once we realized they were closed for an hour an a half already, we high tailed it out of there! Thank you for a great night!"

"The food was great and our server was very helpful. We did have to wait to be seated for an inordinate amount of time side there was not host to greet us. Our server saw us waiting and seated us right away. I ordered the Low Country Shrimp and Grits; however, the menu description does not indicate this is a BBQ dish. Our server promptly offered to replace it with another dish so I ordered the Blackened Chicken linguine which was very good. I appreciated the accommodations made but I would suggest a menu edit to this item to indicate what sort of sauce is on the dish. My boyfriend ordered the scallops and was impressed. The wine selection was pretty good but the beer selection was pretty typical. Overall, a decent celebratory birthday dinner"

"I have been to 4 other McCormick & Schmick's locations over the years and have always enjoyed them, I'm not sure if it is this particular location or they just had an off night but the food was nothing special no one at my table enjoyed their seafood and the service was horrible. We never had full glasses. It was like the waiter kept forgetting about us and everything took longer than it should have. Hoping it was just this location as I have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant in the past."

"Although we had eaten here several times in the past, our experience on 3/15/2013 will keep us from returning. We had reserved one of the private side booths and we had a polite server, but thse was the only positives. The caesar salad had minimal dressing and looked like it came from a "processed bag". My Tilapia was tasteless, dry and overcooked. The Salmon was somewhat better, but still not worth the price. When the Tilipia was sent back, the manager still never came to us, although the restaurant was less than half full at the time. When a replacement was brought out...that fist was also poorly cooked. The server asked if we wanted to talk with the manager and then he came. He was defensive and almost disagreeing with us!"

"My husband and I have been many times. I am over it. The menu is not interesting and the wine choices and accompanying prices leave much for improvement. The offerings are not interesting. If one wants to order ala carte fish, be prepared to pay for close to $30 for the fish alone, then add upwards of $8 for each other item to go with it. The food is good, not great."

"Great raw oysters! Stuffed shrimp was over cooked. Partner's scallops were over cooked also. Menu selection had changed. The restaurant was much better when it was under different ownership. Service was good, but unpolished. Hostess was picking her teeth with her fingernails."

"Seated in a secluded alcove, my husband and I enjoyed a well paced Friday evening. Our waiter realized that we wanted to relax and savor our meal. We started with a sampler of excellent, fresh oysters: Blue Pointe, Malpeque, and Chincoteague. My husband was pleased with his fried shrimp ( the reason for choosing a seafood restaurant that evening.) I had my favorite, Parmesan crusted flounder, which was excellent as always."

"We were greeted with courtesy when we arrived. Every aspect of the restaurant looked very inviting. We loved the private setting in order to talk with friends that we have not seen awhile. It was amazing regarding the short time we were actually served. The stuffed shrimp were the best that we have found in the Atlanta area. When we want seafood, McCormick & Schmick's would be the place to have lunch or dinner. The service was excellent!"

cold and I had to wait over twenty minutes for it to
be 'zapped' and come to me tough, the rest of my party
was done eating. When my husband complained
to the manager as we were leaving, he didn't even
care, and did nothing to compensate for the experience

"I have been to this restaurant five times over the past five years or so. My prior visits were absolutely outstanding -- superb food. On this visit, the food was good, but was not up to the standard I was expecting. If I judged the restaurant on this visit alone, I might not make the special trip to go there."
